Easy to set up took 5 minutes, great picture quality.

I was looking for a cctv security system and was tied between wired and wireless.After much trawling of You Tube I went for the Ezviz x3 camera BC1 wireless system.I put the cameras on charge and having charged x3 of them up , was ready to site them and the base station.Two things you will need that do not come with the kit are a decent sd card and a an ethernet cable to connect to the router.Top be fair most of us have one or both of these items knocking around the home somewhereSet up was easy the cameras do what they should do and the only thing that is taking me a while to get used to is the software which like many reviewers I feel could benefit from a more comprehensive user guide.As part of the Hikvison group I think he build quality is tip top and I have order the doorbell (wireless) and maybe an extra camera ( making x4 in total) to complete the system.So much choic3e out there and I can only speak as I find.They are doing what I want at a price I can afford.Sure there are lots more whizzy systems out there but I didn't fancy paying north of a grand for them to be fitted.MalcolmRugbyWarwickshireEnglandJanuary 2022

Bought the two camera option in the UK February 24. By December 24 one camera failed, probably due to the winter weather. It was mounted externally on a wall above the door, exposed to the elements, in a typical cul-de-sac location. The other camera which still works is mounted externally under a garage overhang, so partially protected from the wind/rain. The faulty camera, wont resync, it just keeps recycling trying to connect to the base unit. I brought it indoors and left for a week to attempt drying it out, but no luck it still won't resync. So whilst it was an attractive price and worked adequately whilst it worked (note battery life is not what the blurb says have recharged 3-4 times since I had them) it is not in my opinion fully weatherproof as stated. So I wouldn't recommend, unless you protect the camera with a shroud at least or its in a protected alcove. However being in an alcove does mean they may be accessible for someone to remove them, as they are magnetically mounted or screw onto a screw mount. Not totally trash, but I wouldn't buy again. Now trying to see if I can get a refund!19/2/25 Update to the above, I contacted EZVIZ customer services via the Amazon messaging service, who responded within a day with a contact number. I then easily got through to a very helpful EZVIZ person (Norman) who noted the issue I was having, he summarised it in an email to me and asked me to send a video of the device restarting and re-syncing. Which I did the same day. He then passed it to second line support for evaluation, and within 48 hours they accepted the fault and dispatched a new camera. So within 7 days I had a new replacement without any hassle. So I have upped my overall star rating. I am now ordering a shroud for the camera to help protect it from the elements, and hopefully prolong its lifespan. In summary I think the product is good, but subject to exposure to the elements, if not sheltered. Customer service was excellent to resolve the issue.

Excellent build quality easily up there with Eufy & Blink etc easy to connect to base unit just simply follow the instructions can’t go wrong. Motion sensitivity is very good had no false alarms as yet but is fully adjustable should you need to change settings. Colour night vision is excellent for the price much better than black n white, not sure if battery’s would last a claimed 365 days but I have just purchased 3 solar panels so no need hopefully to take them down to charge. Overall I am very pleased with image quality day & night and the price I paid for 3 x cameras & base station was simply amazing, would I recommend them yes definitely at this price very impressed.

Handy Camera that we are using as a baby monitor for our 5 month old.The wall attachments are handy and work well to position the camera exactly where you need it.The image is good enough providing your target is in close distance. Night vision is good and the 2 way mic is great.The motion sensor is hit and miss and unfortunately beeps on the camera if motion is detected which in turn wakes the baby!The app could be better but works fine once you get used to it.I would recommend as it is relatively cheap for what your getting, but I wouldn’t use it as an internal camera for say, the living room, as the picture quality wouldn't be good enough.

I have several EZVIZ cameras and am generally happy with them. I have 3 of these and they all suffer from disconnecting from internet. Left on their own, they will work for several hours to several days and then disconnect. Restarting would put them back online again. So I now have them restart twice a day by timer power switch.The picture is clear and fairly wide angle, and can capture much in its field of view. Easy to install and adjust. USB cable is long but sometimes not long enough to go from power outlet to upper corner of room.
