really works. i put it on my sliding door since my toddler learned how to open the sliding door and it helps keep her from opening. also works for security reasons. its pretty strong hard to get through

I thought I measured correctly but it turned out there just was not enough room between my sliding glass doors for this to fit, which is a big disappointment. Had to return them, but they seemed sturdy for those that could make them work!
