It seems that all around there is a general consensus that Mombasa is a great game. However, due to sensitive issues it became out of print. Now skymines hives you the opportunity to play the game with a sci Fi theme. Gameplay is wonderful. It's a mid to heavy euro, with great gameplay. It can be played solo. The basic mode is equivalent to Mombasa with the expansion. Great game. It has some extra modules as well as the other side of the board, explained on the scenarios part of the rulebook. This plus the double sided tracks per corporation with different bonuses makes this a highly replayable game. Highly recommended if you want to start playing heavy euros. Downside, people prefer the art and feel of Mombasa vs this (no idea never played Mombasa so no defect for me) and setup time and space is big and long. It has sone neat boxes to store all though.
