Hi Marion, this brush will be a little big for a teacup Yorkie. We would advise you the small size of the same brush instead. It is recommended to brush long haired breeds daily to prevent knots.

Yes its definitely suitable for a lab. Lots of fine brissles that get in deep into the fur. I got the medium size. Its doesnt seem to hurt the dog either when brushing.
