As long as you can remove the worn out parts this is an excellent and cheap solution to keep your Felco secateurs going. Before you order I'd recommend that the parts that need replacing are extracted other wise the pack is useless. Fortunately I had 2 pairs of the same Felco no 7 so I was able to cananabalise the pair to form a good working pair. Use a socket set to undo the bolts not a screwdriver as you will strip the nuts. The main bolt securing the blade, the axis of the secateurs, will wear out and strip. However that said as a professionally gardener these lasted 21 months before this happened. Felco products are exspensive but worth the outlay. Good repair kit for under a tenner.

Had my Felco 2 for over 10 years now, just ordered the nut and bolt kit to replace worn out set, funnily enough did the same thing 3 years ago, slightly disappointing that this part failed so soon but my secateurs do get abused and I use them every day at work. There’s obviously a lot of sideways force on the bolt so that when the threads get a little thin and rusty the nut just pulls through, probably would last longer but I tend to cut quite large stems! Oh well, at least they are repairable, wouldn’t buy any other secateurs.

I had lost a small bolt that helped secure my Felco secateurs. In the short term I got a temporary standard bolt from my local hardware shop that fitted for 10p.I ordered the official replacement, it comes as 4 parts, I only need 2 out of the 4, and it cost with postage well over £10.It does mean my secateurs are back 100% complete again , but I am irritated by the ridiculously high price for both the parts and the postage.Someone somewhere along the line is making a big financial killing on this.My local garden centre ( voted the best in northern England) does not stock Felco secateurs, when I asked why they said because although they are an excellent product they are very pricey.Felco are widely regarded by professional gardeners as one of the best secateurs you can buy, but with the original product being fairly expensive, and spares and servicing costs being way over the top, they are in danger of frightening ordinary customers off.In conclusion Felco are superb secateurs, but beware if you need any spare parts in the future they are prohibitively expensive.
