Great for overheads!
These microphones are truly amazing and can accurately be used as overheads on a drum kit and can deliver a clear, crisp, fantastic sound quality and I recommend them

This is not an AKG microphone
The product I received was not an AKG microphone even though it was packaged in an AKG box. The mic does not have AKG logo, is much longer and thicker, and has an on/off switch instead of a dB pad switch. It unscrews and there is a battery compartment inside. The outside case seems to have some glue or silicone sealant on it. Please see photos.
