Staticky
When you play over the created loop the sound drops and the recording itself is just full of static. No good

Neat Little Looper Pedal
The first thing you need to know about the Mooer Micro Looper is that it requires an AC adaptor, and does not come with one. You need a 9-volt center negative adaptor, which is commonly used for guitar pedals. Fortunately, I have a few on hand...That said, the Micro Looper is a no-frills looping pedal that has good sound quality and is very useful for practice and/or working out songs. It has up to 30 minutes of recording time, and an overdub function that allows you to record loops on top of loops. It's best not to overdo that, however, as the sound starts getting pretty muddy if you pile up loops. I tried the Micro Looper with guitar and bass, played through both a small tube amp and an amp simulator. I liked the sound best with the bass and the tube amp, though all combinations sounded fine. (If my mics were not all in storage, I'd have tried some vocal loops.) To me, this pedal serves the home user best. I see no reason why it couldn't be used effectively on stage, though most players would probably want something more for that purpose. I should state that the Micro Looper gets warm when it's being used...nothing to worry about, but you probably should rest it after a long session.Mooer is not kidding when they call this a "Micro Looper"- I could hide it in my hand, and I have small hands. This pedal is true bypass, uses a soft-touch footswitch, and has only one control for the looping level. All looping functions are performed with the footswitch. Its solid construction rivals that of well-known brand-name pedals. It comes with a multi-language Owner's Manual, and I can't find any reference to a warranty other than the usual warning about opening the back of the unit. ("Will void warranty")I would consider the Mooer Micro Looper a good value for the money, except for the pesky lack of an AC adaptor, which might add 15 or 20 bucks to the price if you buy a new one. This pedal does arouse my curiousity about other products in Mooer's large line of Micro Pedals.

Functional but limited functions
This pedal is a perfectly functional micro looper. That said it doesn't have any bells and whistles. There's no USB port. There's no switching between loops. There's no speed control. No tuner. These features are found on mini pedals in the same price range or cheaper. USB in particular adds a ton of utility. It really isn't possible to recommend this pedal over the competition because it's eclipsed by them while costing more. If all you need is the barest of utility and this is on sale, then maybe, but for most, a more advanced pedal is a better choice.
