My son LOVED this book! Perfect for anyone into soccer!!!

I want to start off by saying that I'm not a huge football/soccer fan so this book wasn't something I started reading and just couldn't put down. BUT, I did enjoy reading the book even though football isn't my favorite activity. If football is your passion this would definitely be a good book to read. For me football is something that I have had a minor interest in, though the world cup has always seemed like such a fun and unifying event. I mainly got interested because I had friends who played football during school. So, when I got this book I thought this would be perfect. I'd love to be able to talk more about football and the World Cup with my friends. This book has a lot of great information about the World Cup, especially if you're interested in learning more about the history of the event and the players. When I opened the first chapter and saw the quiz I had a moment of fear that it was just going to be a quiz like trivia book but I was pleasantly surprised. While this book probably isn't something I'll read again it was fun and maybe I'll throw a few of my friends when I talk about it with them.

This is a solid book to buy for soccer/football fans. The World Cup is obviously this massive sporting event bringing together so many different nations in what is arguably one of the only globally participated-in sports of our time. The book does a great job mentioning so many different and interesting facts and figures that enhance your knowledge of the Cup and the sport in general. Select things in there I felt could have been legitimately challenged by other authorities on the sport, but overall, this is a solid book on the topic and I highly recommend it for anyone who is a fan of the sport and the competition.

I finally had something to talk about with my soccer fan friends during the matches this year. I will say, the writing could have been more interesting, but I liked that there was a quiz format for each section so you can quiz yourself or your friends (we made it into a game).

House of Ballers did an amazing job with this trivia book for the World Cup! This book contains interesting facts, lesser-known details, and everything in between. There's a plethora of information to keep the reader entertained. This book would be a great gift for any fan of the World Cup. It's an easy and fun read and would recommend it to fans of all ages.

As a person that does not know a lot about football/soccer, this was really hard to follow. I found it hard because of the layout of the book. It is like a test first then the answer key. The last part of the chapters are 10 trivia facts.I also felt like the layout made it harder to soak in the information because all of the dates and names ran together.

This was the first page I happen to open up to. I didn’t even read the rest of the book. Bought it for my 9 year old son. Will be returning.

As a book that claims to be “The Best World Cup Trivia Book Ever”, there may be a few opportunities that challenge that. If I was somebody who will have a midterms exam about World Cup Trivia, this would be a great book to pick up - is the best way to put it. However, If I was a normal football fan, at the very least, this would be a tricky book to get through. It’s essentially formatted like a College Entrance Exam Guide: Practice Questions, followed by Answer Keys. This book would greatly benefit from adding visuals, and small features, like a Did You Know? feature - basically, how you would normally expect a trivia book to look like. This book stayed to true to its purpose, though, which is to ‘allow football fans to expand their knowledge’. This would be great for those who are crazy passionate about football and wants a book with a no-nonsense approach. Apart from that, I wouldn’t say that this is “The Best World Cup Trivia Book Ever”.
