Absolutely delighted with this product. Waited a while as it seemed quite expensive but it's well worth the price. Light weight but strong. Large enough for many jobs but small enough to easily store and carry from job to job.

As someone who loves patchwork I had been toying with the idea of a cutting/pressing mat for a while, but been put off by the price - after all I have an ironing board how can I justify the expense? However determined not to waste an amazon voucher I had been given as a gift, I decided to buy something I would not normally buy for myself. This was one of the items. All I can say is why have I been so tight fisted? It was an absolute joy to be able to press my seams and check finish sizes all at the same time. The item itself is sturdy and the markings are clear. There is more than enough padding to the board to ensure that your work surface is not damaged, but it is firm enough to get a good amount of pressure on the fabric. The only thing I would say is that the handle is not as robust as the rest of the mat - but I didn't buy it for the handle so this does not diminish my view that this is a brilliant addition to any sewing room.

I bought this for using while making smaller items of craft. It is lightweight and very useful. I don't have the room to keep an ironing board up permanently in my craft studio so this has been invaluable. I have used both dry and steam iron on it without any problems. The pad is also useful for blocking crochet and knitting. The cutting side I also found most useful for cutting small fabric patterns although I found material does sometimes slip a bit. The cutting side also has lots of useful guides marked for cutting angles etc. I have not used the board with paper or other craft media. When I'm done it is compact enough to stand beside my craft desk.I have only used this board with a regular (not very large) steam iron. I think it might be too small for some of the steam system irons. I would say this board is a little pricey but I have only had it for a few months and it has already had a lot of use as I work on my craft about 3/4 days a week. Wear and tear wise, it seems to stand up well but only time will tell. So far I am really pleased with this item.

Received this cut/press board for Christmas. Good size and quality. Very suitable for sewers.

Not used it yet, little concerned about the sticker warning as nothing to warn this when you look to place the order, must admit at first I was going to return it due to the sticker!! But I wanted it, Looks good, delivered next day Sunday box was way to big, left in wheelie bin after asking to leave in green house. Over all pleased with it perfect for why I bought it for my little sewing room.

what is the saying, buy cheap, buy twice, in my case many times, until I bought this, cutting and pressing board,it has given me so much scope for use, and its not heavy or awkward to handle, the lines are easy to read, highly recommended. made my life easier.

One aide you can iron on, other side you can use a rotary blade. Very durable, small size which is perfect to set next to your sewing machine. Perfect for quilters.
