Sony ALC-F405S Front Lens Cap for SELF150, Black

There I was, at the top of l'Aiguille du Midi, in the Alps, 3800m, mid February, sub zero temperatures, snapping away a few epic photos of this magical site with my Sony 35mm f2.8 Zeiss lens (SEL35F28Z) when suddenly, whilst trying to clip the minuscule cap back onto its lens, it chose to escape from my numb frozen fingers and drop right between the thin gaps of the wooden bridge down onto the mountain's ice caps.I felt really bad about the plastic pollution I had just caused, but I had to face it: the cap was gone and there was nothing I could do about it. Hopefully someone will find it in the spring/summer and dispose of it in a recycling bin.My principal concern was now how to find a new cap to protect my rather expensive lens, and all I can say is: thank you Amazon! Within less than 15 minutes from the event I had ordered a new genuine Sony cap to be delivered the next day - which was perfect as I was flying back to the UK that evening.The longest part of ordering the cap was checking whether this item would fit the Sony 35mm f2.8 Zeiss lens (SEL35F28Z) which has two plastic components to the cap. I'm writing this review to confirm this it the correct replacement cap for this lens.

Got this for my Sony a6400 16-50mm lens’s and fits perfectly. Only downfall is that it’s a bit expensive for what it is.
