Another reliable Sistema product.
The square dual compartment box from Sistema I bought for my son to start school is still going strong 12 years later & this product seems as well designed and constructed. With age comes a degree of sophistication to one's meals, hence the upgrade for days when a bit of variety is required for lunch. This will contain a sandwich, piece of fruit & salad, and dip or dressing. As with our previous product, the hinges and clips are all constructed to last for years with reasonable usage, important to me as I'm keen not to add to the number of plastics being thrown away weekly for no good reason.Internally, the dividers etc can be arranged in a variety of configurations depending on what you fancy eating that day. You can add or remove the compartment dividers as you need them. Many bento type boxes lack this feature. The whole thing fits in the dishwasher or is very easy to handwash. It's a reasonable size, holds enough for a man-size meal, but is not so bulky as to make you feel you are carrying abound a box of bricks all day in your bag. Suitable for all age groups from toddler to adulthood & for those with compromised dexterity. In terms of colour be careful with amazon listings to select the colour you really want. If you hate pink don't click buy on a multi-listing where they state any colour may be sent. I wanted blue so selected a listing that stated blue, and that is what I received. You may find it useful to order a different colour for each family member to avoid confusion in the morning school/work run rush.

Sturdy and useful but NOT leak proof
First of all, this is NOT leakproof. This was bought for school lunches - both boxes leak badly even when the food sauce is not thin at all (think pasta sauce). They DO leak and of course, the liquid gets everywhere in the bags. Only buy them if you plan to use them for dry foods - sandwiches, vegetables, fruit (not soft/cut so that it will possibly go squishy like strawberries), and pasta with no sauce. When used for foods that contain no liquid at all, they work well and hold a decent amount of food, suitable for all ages children or adults. The blue top compartments only hold a small amount of stuff. The box could well use a bigger insert box with proper lid to be able to use it for foods containing some liquid as right now it is super annoying to plan lunches around this obstacle.

Brilliant lunchbox
I always go for Sistema as they are a trusted brand, I’ve never had issues. This lunchbox is of really good quality, and I love that there are different levels and portions. I use this for my daughter and she has fruit in the little tub, sandwich under the larger section and then a frube on top. The other corner is then for little snacks and it’s just perfect. She loves her food separated so this is just ideal for her and there’s no risk that if her lunchbox got upside down that anything would get mixed up which may upset her (autism). I would also not hesitate to recommend this to adults as there is a good sizing on the portions and you could get a good choice in for your lunch :)

Handy, good quality, a bit bulky but good capacity
I like sistema products due to their plastic usually being BPA and phtalate free as well as usually being excellent quality. I bought two of these to hold packed lunches for two adults and two young kids while travelling. They definitely had excellent capacity. You can choose which inserts to keep in e.g if you're just packing sandwiches in the main bit you might not want the top insert. At first I was worried it might be fiddly to eat when you have limited space around you e.g at school lunch table or on train due to the little upper compartments and needing to take them out to get to what's underneath... however, you can store them safely in the open lid while you eat from the lower section without spilling their contents. I find them excellent for storing the components of a salad for one person that you might not want to mix until ready to eat e.g. the dressing can go in the screw top pot, nuts in one of the upper layers, a boiled egg in the side section, meat in the top larger layer etc. For £7 each these were excellent value. I havent had a problem with leakage but I havent packed much that would leak and I find the screw top pot fine to hold a salad dressing. They are easy to put in the dishwasher as you can carefully separate the lid from the base, I find they need a bit of drying out afterwards like most plastics. My only other thought is they are quite deep which is excellent for food storage space but bulky so check you are definitely happy with the size before purchasing.

Big lunch boxes breed obesity
we were look gin for a sturdy compact lunch box after the previous one perched just after a few months of rough daily handling in a school back pack. This is bento typo of box is exactly what we were looking for as it not too voluminous and not as several others that were too flimsy. The size and compartments are great for the selection of fruits, healthy bars and sandwiches our daughter brings to school. After all the much anticipated school lunches at our daughter’s new secondary school are a disappointment - often the electronic payment system fails, more often they run out of plain items. So we are back to packed lunches. But this raises the problem of bulky and fragile lunch boxes. Plastic containers in over-full school backpacks will not last long. Last year she needed a new one every 3 months. So we select on compactness and sturdiness - this one matches the requirements very well. Recommended.

Great for toddler lunchbox (3.5 years)
I was lookimg for a first lunchbox for my 3.5 year old daughter. This was a great choice. Its easy to open and close, easy to lift little trays, there is a cup for fruit. It is strudy, spacious - we easily fit two ellas pouches, sandwich, yogurt and some fruit. When yogurt or smoothie spills it never gets in the bag. Seems to be keeping leak well. It is easy to clean, rinses well. I recommend it for toddlers and older children as well as for adults.

Brilliant box
Bought this in blue pink and green. It’s a great wee box to store lunch time goodies. Keeps food fresh all day as it has a great seal. You do have to be creative in your nibbles to make sure they fit as it is a smaller size - but I think they are super
