Great fun
My toddler loves this game! He likes to make me put my finger in the sharks mouth so that it 'bites' me rather than him haha. This game does not need batteries. As other reviewers have advised - the jaws do often/easily come apart but they also easily go back together again.Overall good value for money for what you get.

Fun game, but limited shelf life
The shark attack is pretty simple. You pull open the jaws of the shark, and take turns pushing each of the sharks teeth back into its mouth. Each player takes a turn until WHAM, someones finger is taken off. This is a pretty fun and enjoyable game to play with the kids. It was a hit at our last house party, with all kids gathering around and wanting to play. However, the kids have lost interest fairly quickly. The main reason is its possible to work out which tooth triggers the jaw to snap back. It happens that the tooth that triggers the mechanism requires that little bit more pressure, which is easily worked out by a 6yo.

Great game, poor quality
We've had this game a few years ago but it's long since lost so thought it was about time we got a new one. The aim of the game is to press the teeth down one by one - one tooth triggers the shark to bite down, but which one is it?It's great fun to play, really tense, though the 'bite' might hurt little ones' (5 and below) fingers, so watch out.Main issue with this is that it is poorly made and keeps falling apart between games, meaning you have to constantly piece together the top and bottom jaws of the shark to set it up. Once up, it works fine. Sadly though it also doesn't look like it's going to last too long either because the plastic is bending where you put it together. My main message would be to buy the game, but find a better quality one if you can.

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH AND WASTE OF MONEY
Foolish me, should've read the reviews before purchasing, but there's always good and bad reviews so didn't bother; wish i had. This was bought as a Christmas present for my 3 year old grandson who loves sharks and was very excited when he saw it. First of all we noticed one of the bottom front teeth was missing and was rattling about within the base, but we ignored this. Once we'd depressed the teeth and it bit down it was great fun, resetting it the head (top part) fell off and never went back on properly so never worked right again! At £8.25 i'd expect more than this, cheap items out of Christmas crackers last a lot longer! My main concern is how much this may cost me for return delivery as i need the whole £8.25 back to replace this present with another, the last time i sent something back to Amazon i'd paid £11 for a jewellery box and got only £3+ in returns, someone's making money out of someone here!!!Shark Attack

Great Idea but Poor Quality
Great idea and fun when it works, however the head comes off easily and a young child finds it difficult to put back on. It ends up requiring a lot of help and supervision from an adult when marketed as a game that can be played on their own. After a short time it became difficult to get the spring mechanism to load correctly when you put the shark head back on, and we could rarely get it to actually work. So frustrating for the kids and their friends who wanted to play it that ours went in the bin. Don't waste your money and buy something that will last.

Great fun
Good simple fun game for young children. There aren't that many games that my 2.5 and 5 year old can play together, both enjoy and does not end in tears. No batteries needed, no bits to lose, which is great as it means they can play together without me having to check all the bits are still there. It is small but not that small that we cannot play with them.Simple idea, each take a turn pushing a tooth and one of the teeth will cause the shark jaws to shut, which is very funny and enjoyed by my boys who both want to play again, so that they both have a turn of being bitten.Good fun and although you wouldn't play it for a long time is small enough to be stored away easily.Great no fuss game.
