Easy to install however, very poor quality of picture always flickering. Would not buy.

Not very good for retro gaming.
NES and SNES games take a good number of resets to ensure the picture colour is accurate, sometimes it requires you to have NO SIGNAL for a couple of seconds before turning it back on again.I don't recommend that you buy this if that is a big issue for you, however when the colour is correct and everything works as intended it's fairly decent enough and there isn't much input lag.Disassembly is easy enough, there's no screws and you can just pry the thing open to get to the main board.Overall, i'd give this little thing a 4.5/10, there's better alternatives out there.

I got this adaptor to connect my old WII games console to my smart TV, I plugged it in and it worked first time, the only issue was the fact that my partner beat me at our first game of ten pin bowling. Highly recommended.

May work in specific circumstances - not for my purpose
I bought this product to digitize old VHS tapes, recorded in the 4:3 format, 625 lines PAL, and, having tested it in various different configurations using different machines, concluded that the unit I received was not at all suited to that task. Its internal software is not sophisticated enough to correctly deal with the upsampling, particularly the horizontal placement of the 4:3 frames within the 16:9 format. For other purposes it may work just excellently - I did not test that. So, unfortunately, I wasted time and in the end had to return the product.
