Good quality ink
This has certainly bought back to life my old Sheaffer pen I normally use a parker fountain pen as I am an advocate of the old way,s are the best way,s certainly worth the money I paid.

They work fine.
I bought a used Sheaffer pen from a charity shop for £4, less than the cost of the cartridges. But, useless without them. I did wonder whether cheaper cartridges would work bu stumped up for the genuine article. I will now use this pen for writing in birthday cards and signing international peace treaties where a biro just does not cut the mustard.
