This is a great chess set and board. I tis magnetic and keeps the pieces in place. I think it is the perfect size and I love the annotations for the grid. If makes it easier to become a proficient player. It also comes with a set of checkers.

Portable chess set was great for our needs. We hosted a youth activity night and it wa wonderful to have multiple chess sets available. The chess board was average. Good value. Quality for the money.

Very well made

I ended up returning it because it's basically just a sticker haphazardly glued on the cheapest splinteryest unvarnished wood you can find. No craftsmanship and ugly. Only gets a star cause technically it is a chess board that came with all it's pieces.
