My mom suffered a massive stroke, and now suffers from complete incontinence. We are a budget family so, in lieu of the disposable diapers we had been using, I went in search of something reusable. There's also the planet to consider with disposables. Although it's absolutely necessary to use a disposable pad to protect my mother's skin from overflow, these have been a perfect alternative to disposable diapers. My mother says they are far more comfortable, and caregivers love them for ease of on/off. They wash beautifully. So happy I found this alternative. Adult cloth diapers that work are *really* hard to find.UPDATE: I'm not sure buyers understand the high quality of these washable diapers for the elderly. They are incredibly sturdy, wash brilliantly, and the seller is extremely reliable. So very glad I found these. Many thanks.

I used this to hold my father's diapers in place. He had diapers from the VA and I put liners in them. The VA diapers had tape to fasten the sides with and could not be used more than once. My father usually did not wet in his diapers and this allowed me to reuse the same diapers, like underpants each time we got him up on the commode to release his bladder. I did not use these fabric diapers/plastic pants to absorb. The diapers were NOT expected to keep or catch the urine and I don't know if they were leak proof. The velcro fastners around each side were fantastic. I also used a quilted pad that was absorbent to catch leakage AND to move my father around in bed. These covers held up well in the washer.

I did not get much use out of it. My husband who has dementia cut it apart with a scissor. It is water proof, very dense material. I could not sew it back together, no needle would penetrate it. I used old hand towels in the night with this, till I found out external cath condoms work wonderful. I think it is well made.

Wish they came in black or navy blue and larger size for large men. But they serve the purpose. Just want them easier to put on large person.

It was my first time ordering these for a relative and I did not realize that you need to separately order the inserts in order for everything to be absorbed. I ended up ordering the inserts and have been using them ever since. Both the diapers and the inserts have taken a beating the last couple of months and they are still intact and doing what they're supposed to do. They get thrown in the washer/dryer 4 times a week, and they're still holding up.

The wrap keeps the diaper in place for a snug fit. Saves me laundry loads.

They are huge, really huge! The leg holes are so large for an adult they leak terribly. So don’t waste your money.

I purchased these for my elderly mother who wanted to be a little more independent and take care of her needs. The problem is the Velcro is wide and thick; it's strong it's going to stay in place for sure. However, for arthritic hands there was no way she could peel back the Velcro. It was just too strong, so I guess that's a plus and a minus. You need strong hands or someone else week needed to help.
