Olfa RTY-2/C Splash Rotary Cutter, Aqua, 45 mm, Turquoise

Absolutely fantastic.Bought to cut leather as it's very difficult to get a clean edge with scissors and cutting with a scalpel blade requires one direction cutting and a number of passes (overall quite fiddly)The olfa cutters are well respected for quality so I went right for that brand and was not disappointed. The blade is very sharp and cuts through the leather like butter, leaves a perfect edge and allows you to roll back and forth if needed to catch areas where you needed a tad more pressure applied.The splash handle is a bit more sturdy and comfortable to hold than the basic olfa handles and features a little snap on clip to fix the blade so theres no need to unscrew bolts and make sure they're tightened.The blades are easy to replace and I will be sticking with olfa branded ones as I'm able to cut hairs width slices off the edges of leather with no trouble whatsoever!Overall a fantastic product that I'd wholeheartedly recommend

Before buying this Olfa cutter, I read reviews about it and several other cutters. So happy I chose this one. Firstly, I like the colour. It is light and comfortable to hold. The blade is very sharp, with very little downward pressure, just using the weight of my hand, it cut through a couple layers of thick fabric as if it wasn't there. The safety cover for the blade is easy to slide backwards and forwards, so it's no hassle to keep the blade safe. I used my Olfa on a self-seal mat. I haven't changed the blade yet and I think I'll buy an Olfa blade when the time comes as I'm very impressed with the cutting performance of it.

I am a dressmaker and I have tried a fair few rotary cutters over the last few years. Large and small, cheap and expensive and let me tell you, this is hands down the best one I have tried. The small diameter makes it super easy to manoeuvre around curves and the blade is razor sharp, cutting through chunky and fine fabrics like butter. Don't waste your time and money on other options, just go with this one, you will be very happy I'm sure.

its easy to use but sometimes it doesn't cut the fabric as expected. Other times it works well. I was using it to make a quilt so had to cut small squares of fabric - i bought it as a recommendation on one of the youtube quilting videos.

Haven’t used this yet but when I’m looking at videos lots of people are using this rotary cutter so it must be good and it’s my favourite colour and brand is well known

I bought this to replace another rotary cutter. I am glad I did. This one feels comfortable in my hand and the blade cuts very well. Also, the ease of changing the blade is a game changer. No need to screw and unscrew bolts. It has an easy release button that makes changing your blade such a breeze. This rotary cutter is well worth it, and I am glad I got it.

This makes cutting so easy and fast. The colour is so cute too.

Si te estás iniciando como yo en los trabajos con cuero es una herramienta imprescindible para realizar cortes limpios y precisos. Requiere práctica para sacarle todo el rendimiento, sobre todo para los cortes curvos y los que necesitan cierto ángulo en el perfil del cuero. Fijar bien el patrón a la mesa con su correspondiente base de corte y una regla metálica o plantilla para curvas ayudan bastante. El filo es tremendo y hay que acordarse de bloquear la hoja cuando no se usa. Los recambios originales de Olfa son caros aunque hay marcas secundarias más baratas que no están mal, y el sistema de sustitución de la hoja circular es bastante sencillo teniendo cuidado de no cortarse. Habrá que ver la longevidad del filo en función del uso.Salud
