Sturdy. Heavy. Good value.
Very well built with a sturdy fiberglass handle that has an anti slip rubber coat. The head is sharp and heavy.Did great going through some roots in my garden.

This Pick Axe is the real deal, its tough and gets through the earth easily with no trouble at all, and i love the bigger end to get through tree roots. Worth every penny.

Right tool for the job
At 65, I have no tolerance for junk tools. This isn’t. Sturdy enough for the job but not too heavy to swing easy. Great handle absorbs the impact so my arms don’t even when I hit hidden rocks. Worth the price as it will serve fo a lifetime

Roughneck Pickaxe
I'm pleased that I went for this fibreglassed handled pickaxe, I have only ever used and owned those with a wooden handle, so took some time to make up my mind.Really nice to have the bright yellow handle, easily seen whether propped up or laying on the ground.Really nice to use and easily cleaned after use too.I wish I'd gone for the slightly wider chisel end but this is a recommended tool.

perfect tool for bamboo removal
superb tool with the right length handle, weight and ease of use, slicing though through the tough bamboo i had. From other reviews, the leverage asssited most of the work. Please note prep work to poison the bamboo had to be undertaken 1 week in advance.
