I've had this as my ipad case for a couple of months. Best feature - apple pen holder. I really like having the pen stored in the case. It charges when stored and I never have to look for it. My daughter has a similar stand case on her ipad but does not have one with a pen holder, and she constantly loses her apple pen and it is never charged when she finds it.The case itself is nice enough, though it isn't a high end case. The material is fine, kind of a softer, sort of rubbery plastic. Again, not a high end case, but the material isn't unpleasant in any way. It's what you would expect. The stand feature works just like similar cases. I haven't dropped my ipad, but for normal use, taking it in and out of my backpack and squashed between papers and books, and the occasional rough handling of my backpack, everything is just fine.This would be a great case for an older elementary-aged kid, teen, or adult, but maybe not for a toddler/pre-schooler. It's pretty thick around the edges, so I bet it could handle reasonable drops. I just haven't dropped it, so can't say for sure. If my kids dropped it, then it worked, because they didn't tell me and there is no evidence.

Fit my iPad Pro 11-inch perfectly. The product looks very sleek with a minimal "design" and is overall pretty durable, however, I've had this case for 2 months and there are already scratches and punctures (barely visible though).

I like this case, but I personally would like if the back of the case was more of a hard plastic rather than a bendy silicone. The silicone makes it easier to pop the pencil in and out, but I feel like sometimes the edges of the ipad just pop out of the case when I grab it a certain way. This may be just a preference since I previously had a hard case before.Nevertheless, I like the case. The pencil slot is perfect and its neat that the pencil charges while in the case - I never have a dead pencil. I also like how the screen turns off when it closes. The color is nice and sleek, and the cover is easy to clean if I spill a bit of water on it.

Don't feel this is sturdy enough for a hard drop. it's ok, if you cushion the fall with one of your foot— if you are nimble enough. This is for people that are careful with their tablet and seldom move it, definitely not for my college-bound kids. They drop their phones every time they are around me—i think it's on purpose. If this case is for your kids, then applecare is HIGHLY recommended. Good luck.
