Perfect dome cake tin.
This is my first time trying to bake a ball themed cake, purchase this hemisphere 20cm cake tin and it's worked perfectly. The tin is a perfectly round dome, so you will need to find a way to stand it upright, I used another round cake tin which did the job.The cake rises so I levelled it off with a knife and it looks ready to decorate. It cleaned really easy too. (I buttered the tin before pouring the cake batter in).

Great item....but use a ring to steady the tin whilst cooking.
I used Wilton's cake release with this and the cake came out really really easily. I half to three-quarters filled the tin and it took nearly an hour to bake at 180. I turned it down to 170 so it wouldn't burn but I shall cut the top level as it had crisped up slightly. I am also going to buy a metal ring such as a scone cutter to stand it on as I hadn't thought about it and it's obviously quite unstable. I put it in the oven level but it actually tipped slightly whilst cooking.Great shape though, good quality and did the job really well!

Nice, good quality tin
Nice round tin. Took recommendations to line with baking sheet strips to remove & came out well. Takes longer to cook than flat tins, but as expected. Easy to clean.

Worked brilliantly
I bought this tin to make a football cake (see photo). I’ve never made a cake like this before, and I was really thrilled with how well it worked.I also bought the PME FB49 football cutters, which made it all super-easy. I had considered using a Pyrex bowl, rather than buying this tin, but I’m glad I didn’t try that, as I realised when applying the fondant, that the hexagonal shapes wouldn’t have come together neatly if the surface wasn’t spherical. I did apply a thin layer of white fondant on the cake first, before the hexagonal ones, so little gaps could be adjusted by stretching the shapes slightly.Another reviewer had worried me by saying they found the cake hard to remove, but in fact it almost literally fell out of the tin when it was cooked - there was no problem at all about getting it out. As my husband pointed out…there are no corners for cake to get stuck in. I can only think the other reviewer must have overfilled their tin and had some batter running over the top.I sat the tin inside a smaller round cake tin to keep it stable in the oven.So yes, I definitely recommend this tin if you want to make a football cake. I can’t wait to try it again.

Great for baking domes.
Used this twice to make a sphere, and both times the cake came out with little effort. Can say you will have to grease the tin first but other than that it's brilliant. One point I realised a after purchase was it does not ship with a standing ring whilst it's in the oven. I did however use a chefs ring and that did the job.Nice little product that's just awaiting another birthday to be used again.

Great quality! Use heating core to bake thoroughly
I really love the quality of this cake tin. Please consider using a heating core as the inside of the cake will not be baked because it's too deep.

What a great little cake tin !
This is great little round cake tin and it certainly was worth every penny.I specifically bought this to make a Malteser Xmas Pudding Cake and found the mould to be perfect in size.Handy tips: I found that placing the tin on/in a large metal round cookie cutter on a baking tray, helped to keep it in place and level whilst the cake was baking in the oven.I also soaked the tin immediately after use, as it helped to wipe any residue away rather than scrubbing and scratching the surface of the mould. And lastly I found using a non stick spray to grease the tin much better than using butter.

Good quality
First time to use such a tin, would have been good to have instructions how long a cake in this sort of tin would take to bake.Found it difficult ,had to try three times before succeeding
