Absolutly brilliant
I have used an inferiour make for a few years on my EV charger which broke and I found this. I can not believe how easy it was to install, pair and set up. It just worked! A very good, detailed manual and an equally easy single page with abbreviated installation instructions. This is now on my recomended list for other users. Thank you.

Basic Electrical Energy Meters
A relatively clear indicator of Electrical Energy Flow, but like all such meters it only measures current flow and time (via its own timing system) so its accuracy is variable, based on what you set the voltage level too and the power factor of the item you are supplying. Following the supplied instructions the unit was easy to set up and use. I did not test the maximum distance from transmitter to display unit but found I had no problem within my own home. Both the transmitter and display take 3 AA batteries each, only time will tell on how regularly they need to be replaced. These meters are no substitute for the modern smart meter displays, but are useful when used in a specific circuit to indicate the basic energy used. I have installed mine in an Electric Vehicle Charging Circuit, so that I have an indication of the energy and cost involved, without having peer at the supplied accurate meter which is in a cupboard at floor level.

Great!
Really like this meter. It was easy to fit for a 'normal' person, if only a bit fiddly for us getting the sensor round our live wire in the fusebox because our box is a bit crowded. In retrospect would have been easier to us to put it on the wire in the electricity box outside. The meter works a treat. Not surprisingly I find it doesn't identify which direction the flow of electricity is; this is not a problem at all if you DON'T have solar panels as your electricity feed would all be one was (i.e. in!).We have recently had solar panels installed and now that I understand it measures absolute flow then that's fine too... During the day when it is sunny it shows us how much electricity we have spare that we are sending back to the grid, and at night it shows what we are drawing from the grid. If it's not so sunny and we are not sure whether the meter is showing our excess generation or what we are taking from the grid, then we just switch the kitchen spot lights on and see if the meter number goes up and down. Easy!

Bought from Smart Green Shop
Bought from Smart Green Shop. It was returned automatically as I failed to collect it on time. When I emailed them they resent to me. Great support. The monitor itself functioned as advertised, easy to install and setup. Plesant design and nice to see electricity consumption and cost of kwh live and historically. Makes you think about what to switch on and for how long.I've had this operational for about 3 weeks now. For current usage it's fine. History mode is I believe poor. There is no separation between peak and off peak usage nor cost. I enquired from Efergy but a little unclear response leaves me unsure. Secondly history only goes back 8 days, now that's poor. It means that I would need to be logging daily info into an Excel spreadsheet. I've looked for a more detailed product without success so far. I don't need nor want a high cost item but more historical information is important. So I wouldn't buy this product again.

What a simply cost saving device!
Living and working overseas, energy monitors are not as easy to come by.I purchased this and had it shipped to me in Singapore, as I felt I could do more to reduce my electricity expenditure.Having unpacked the device, and clamped the remote CT onto my fuse box, the link was immediate between the CT and the monitor and it has not had any issues since.Granted that I made some simple decisions once it was installed, such as deciding not to use my clothes dryer (after seeing how much energy it used!)However, such simple tasks as remembering to turn off the lights, and being conscious of what you are using, means that my first power bill I received after I had commenced using the monitor resulted in a 50% savings.Having now used the device for more than 4 months, it has paid for itself already, and I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone and everyone to purchase one and install it!

An excellent energy monitor
I bought this to replace an old OWL CM119 monitor which died after 12 years use. This new energy monitor is easier to set up and provides a good menu of data and information.I would recommend this to anyone.

Good Monitor that is Easy To Use and Helps Save Energy
Nicely made and easy to use. I had mine up and running in about 10 minutes. Having a standard low tech electric meter in a cupboard in the hall means it is tricky to monitor what is using power at any given time. This energy monitor makes it very easy to see what is using power in near real time. Also it makes it easy to see if something has be left switched on that doesn't need to be. The garage lights now have a timed on switch as they were being left on lots of times! Only minor issue is that the installation directions for the sensor next to the meter were not as clear as they could have been. This is a good alternative if you can't have a Smart meter and monitor fitted. It has saved me running unnecessary lights and equipment, and correlates pretty well to the daily electric meter usage too.
