This is gonna sound like fake review but hear me out. The lamp in person looks nicer than the pics - lovely feel to it, sturdy and warm looking. It was a gift for my sis and she really dug it.HOWEVER::::::::::->The plug didn’t work when we plugged it in. It buzzed and crackled. So, I emailed to ask for a replacement.The response I got was fast, very friendly, and keen to sort any problems out. They were quick to offer replacement parts, sending them out in no time.New part works perfectly and arrived quickly.I have to say, in terms of customer experience, this was nice enough to motivate me to write a review, which i never do. When they get round making a puppy lamp I’ll buy the living sugar out of it.

This lamp is amazing.It comes fully assembled and feels really sturdy.You tap the dogs head to change the brightness which has a few different levels of light.You can change the position if you wish to and have the dog figure sitting down or standing up.It looks brilliant and is made of genuine wood.It was a great gift and would definitely buy again

Great lamp for the bedside table, touch control has occasionally stopped responding but after unplugging and re-plugging it back in all seems to work as expected again.Wide range of poses but can be unstable in some (large heavy head on thin legs/body makes wobbling somewhat likely).Lovely soft light thanks to the diffuse covering.Definitely recommended.

Update and Full disclosure:I was approached by the seller to remedy the situation and send me a replacement at no cost to me. For this, would I take a look at my review?I agreed.I have changed my rating from 3 star to 5 star and there are some good reasons why1. The product did arrive undamaged and in good working order. Success.2. I did not give the seller any opportunity to rectify the situation. I simply reported the facts, which remain, but could have been rectified with a simple email to report a problem. To be honest, I have gone down the complaining via email many times, with little, to no success.3. I rated a good product down because of something completely out of the control of the seller/manufacturer(see extended supply chain)So this is my way of recognising great customer obsession shown by imenox. Imenox made the first contact with me and offered the simplest way of resolving the issue; "Let us try again"As I said below - the little dog is very cute, but I thought I would give a little more detail this time.You get a little allen key to tighten the bolts and put it the head on the.You can make some nice poses and then tighten a little more to make sure the dog stays as its should.Giving the dog a little pat on the head (Well, where the on switch is), will the cycle the light from Off->Dim->Brighter->Brightest>OffIts a nice size.Old review:----- Cute as a button but alas it arrived broken. The head had broke at the hinge on opening the box. I have used some glue etc to repair.Operational use unaffected by the damageWorks as it should do.Would have been fine if the product had arrived undamaged and I did not need to spend over an hour repairing it.

Amazing! I waited three and a half years for this to be in stock at a time I could afford it and it was so worth the wait! I have zero regrets about this purchase!My only small complaint would be that you can’t turn it off without cycling from dimmest to brightest which this really wakes me up when I’m turning it off before bed. It’s really not a massive issue and the design, aesthetics, simplicity of use and ranges of brightness far outweighs this.Reversing the cycle or adding an extra button so one controls power and one controls brightness could maybe be considered for a later version of this lamp, if such a thing is being considered.

I love the lamp, the way your can change the dog's position. The wood also looks nice and the lamp is really solid and just amazing. However it's activated and regulated via a touch button at the top of the dog's head. The touch button partially stopped working on my lamp just after 5-6 weeks after I bought it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Don't know what happened but still love it. <3

I ordered the 'Wood Body-Neutral light 4000-5000k' version and it's a good as it looks in the pictures. The light is warm white, the wood nicely is grained, and the construction is solid. The plastic front is the only potential issue as it looks a bit flimsy but it's okay as it stands - there are four tiny screws, one in each corner, to hold it in place. Note that the white power cord plugs under the back of the head, but it looks a little like a lead anyway so it's not too visually disruptive. The switch is a touch-based and rotates through 3 settings back to off again. The lowest setting is perfect for a desk environment.

The Dog Lamp is the perfect gift. It’s a truly unique piece of lighting. The lamp comes fully assembled so no work is required- just plug in and go. It comes with 3 brightness settings so ideal as a bedside reading lamp or lighting a room. The legs and head can be adjusted for a variety of positions so it’s more than just a lamp. Worth every penny for something unique.
