LEGOCity Fire 60108: Fire Response Unit Mixed

This was bought as an Amazon Warehouse Deal. It said the box was damaged and, boy, that was true. It also said the contents were as new and that was also true; all 12 of the bags inside, including the ones with instructions, were unopened and undamaged. There was a substantial discount to compensate for the damaged outer box and I am very satisfied with my purchase.These Lego City buildings are very detailed and provide hours of construction fun. The building process is divided among five instruction books and eleven bags of components, so it consists of fairly easy stages. The age range is shown as 6-12, but with a little help my 5 year old grandson can follow the clear instructions and manages to concentrate for hours at a time. Once built the model becomes a part of the Lego City skyline and joins the hospital and police station to enable endless adventures.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my son's 5th birthday. He loves it, and has built and re-built it many times. I can't imagine that he'd still be playing with it at age 12 though, so I would suggest it's more suitable for the younger end of the scale. Comes with 2 lego fire fighters and is great for any child who likes vehicles and fire trucks etc.Reasonably priced too, considering the hours of play that it has had already. Fast delivery, arrived before the stated time.

When I bought this fire truck, I ran argos and John Lewis and Lego stores. I didn't have this fire truck. I finally wanted Amazon. I would like to thank Amazon for the very fast delivery. On May 4th, my child was 5 years old. The birthday promised him for a long time, finally bought him this gift on this day, I like it very much, it is done by the children themselves! Lego is a great product!

Posting on behalf of my son (10) who still adores getting Lego for Christmas. The detail is good and because we got at a good price this was a great gift from Santa. We were worried he was getting too old - but his face said otherwise. Lego do a good job of putting in details which appeal to the older age group.

For those who, as my son, have always been "a firefighter" (now he is 7 years old), could not miss the firefighter set, the most complete and best suited to invent stories with other sets of trains, volcanic explorations, etc. Thanks to Amazon to give me a possibility to buy it now during price reductions

Quite a big set, but with one slight issue that seems to plague a lot of modern Lego sets. it doesn't hold up too well to play, and often has to be rebuilt due to bits coming off here & there. it wouldn't have taken many extra bricks to fix this, but I guess that's the price-point kicking in.

This was bought for four year old's birthday to complement his Lego fire station. He was delighted and it has prompted lots of imaginative play. Easy for him to put together with some adult help.

What is there to say about Lego other than that the kids love it and that the price is too high..
