Nubian Soap African Black Soap With Oats, Aloe & Vitamin E 140g

This soap is amazing. I give it five stars for the following reasons: 1) First, the smell - It smells divine, leathers nicely and cleans the skin perfectly without drying it too much. Even my girlfriend which is very sensitive with soaps likes it very much. 2) When other soaps fail to treat your skin issues, Nubian Heritage does not -- Most people try this soap because of skin issues, including skin sensitivity issues. I am very sensitive to most cleansing products; my face becomes a dry, itching mess quite easily. I also still contend with pimples. This soap helps control my acne without turning my face into a dry, red mess. 3) Your skin was soft once and will be again -- This soap has phenomenal moisturizing properties. It feels great on your skin.I don't have to apply baby oil or moisturizing body lotion because this soap does it all. If your hair becomes dry during particular periods of the year, try washing your hair with this bar rather than using hot oils or protein soaks. 4) Ingredients you can pronounce -- I don't want dyes or heavy chemicals in anything I use but especially on my face. This soap has a straightforward ingredient list. This product is vegan in nature with no animal based products and it is not tested on animals.Also, it is a great body soap for all skin types of all ages and ethnicities. I like the extra oils that this bar of soap has added..feels like it will last a long time ....very fine milled, but the only point I'd have is to know exactly what type of oil is used in a particular Nubian Heritage soap. Whether its pal oil or coconut oil exactly.Or, if both are used,I'd like it to be stated.Otherwise,I like very much their soap line. And,this is the great one in particular. Thanks for making such a great product at a reasonable price.I am also now using the Raw Shea Butter lotion made by the same company and I am convinced that I found the perfect combo to great skin.

I have mild psoriasis and ordered this as I had heard good things about it. It arrived in just over a week. I used it for the first time tonight, so I don't know yet how it will help my skin, but I expect the natural ingredients will do me more good than chemical soaps.The soap smells nice, not too strong. It left my skin feeling clean, and did not feel like it had left residue which is my usual issue with soaps/aqueous cream (which I normally use).Used it with Uddely Smooth cream (which I swear by) and so far so good. :) I'm a happy customer and I have a feeling this will become a regular part of my beauty routine!I also had a spot, and after using this soap to wash my face about 3 hours ago that's basically gone! But that may be a coincidence!

I bought this soap as, after much research, I thought it would be a milder version of raw African Black Soap which I was wary of using. The smell was a bit much at first - but I got used to it and grew to like it. It got rid of some spots within days, and left my face soft. I did occasionally use it on my hands too - it left the rough parts smooth and did fade some of the discolouration. The lather did feel tight if I left it on my face for more than half a minute, but it wasn't much of a problem. After a few months I started to use the soap in conjunction with 100% Shea Butter (not the kind sold as an accompaniment on Amazon). It brightened my complexion, though I did use it along with other products with the aim to lightening my facial skin tone - and I was told about my complexion; I didn't notice that on my own.I suppose I want something that has more noticeable results in the exfoliation department, as this was not it. But it was still a nice product to use.

Having tried all other black soaps and reacted badly to them - particularly the original 'raw' African black soap that left me with the worst neck rash I've ever had - I'd given up on the idea until I found out about Nubian Heritage's version. Hands down, it's the best I've come across. It leaves the skin squeaky clean and smooth, doesn't dry it as much as the others, has helped to soften blemishes and doesn't blacken the basin as much. On top of it all, I've not experienced any reactions. Of course, it has other ingredients besides the raw African soap base but that doesn't make it less efficient; ultimately, its ingredients are still natural and as long as it takes care of the skin, purism over its composition is unnecessary, in my view (especially if the 'purism' doesn't suit all types of skin). It's definitely one to buy again.

Great soap and smells amazing. It cured my acne on my back. I use it for hair and body.PROS:🌟 Cleared my back acne.🌟 Smells amazing🌟 Hold together better than other black soaps and does not fall apart.🌟 Lasts a long time.CONS:🔶 Can be very messy as leaves black residue wherever you use/place the soap. Would recommend using a soap dish.

Really disappointed with this soap. I bought it because I read in many websites that it was really good to fight acne breakouts and scars and also to heal redness. As it is a natural product, and I only use natural stuff for my face, I thought it would be great.Well, it dried and irritated my skin so much that I had to stop using it. I didn't use the soap directly on my face, just a little with water on my hands. But even so, it made my skin very dry.I won't probably buy it again.

I've tried many different herbal soaps including the well known Dudu Osun, but this is the best I've used. The smell is powerful and sweet, you get a lot of lather so it lasts a long time and it helps with all adverse skin conditions. I've already ordered three more bars and don't even feel like using any of the other soaps I have!
