This one is the good stuff, works very well. I saw some negative reviews but what they described is exactly what happens when you eat pure psyllium husk powder. A teaspoon is an average serving, and this is the way to get cleaned out if you need fiber in your diet.

Micro ingredients has become my go to brand for supplements. Their quality control, organic ingredients & excellent value has me hooked.

Instead of drinking things like Metamucil, I like to drink psyllium husk direct. Has no added chemicals, or any toxins in there. It’s just psyllium husk direct, only one ingredient. Helps me go to the bathroom very well, and would highly recommend it. Just keep in mind that it has an awful flavor, so try to mix it in with something such as açai powder, or any other fruit juice of your choice.

I thought I would try this product after looking at several psyllium husk powders and their reviews on Amazon. Benefiber was easy to access but suddenly it was out of stock everywhere I looked for it. I did NOT realize until the first week I took this that Benefiber did NOTHING for me. Turns out, it's Wheat Dextrose.I tried this first in hot coffee, since that's what is easiest for me to put powders in. It did NOT want to mix, but I eventually got it mixed with a stick blender's whisk attachment. Unfortunately, the tiny little scoop of this stuff quickly thickened the coffee to a milkshake thickness, made it taste a bit grainy, and a little metallic/extra earthy. I was fine with that, but looked for something better.This stuff is AMAZING in smoothies. I make a (terrible for you but delicious) one that's just ice, Pina colada mix (Mr. & Mrs. T brand), Pineapple juice (Dole brand), Garden of Life Raw Protein and Greens powder in Vanilla, and a scoop of this stuff. I tasted no difference to the taste and texture of the smoothie at ALL.Problem is, I don't make smoothies all the time. I plan on trying Blate Papes with this as suggested since I don't want to take up to six capsules a day of other brands.

Quality psyllium husk but also thankful the bag is resealable and it comes with a scoop. The extra thought put into the container goes a long way! Will buy again.

Match 2025 I purchased this brand of whole psyllium husk, hoping to save some money while maintaining my daily routine. I've been taking psyllium husk religiously since last year, and it has been a game-changer for my digestive health. Unfortunately, my experience with this particular brand was disappointing.After just a week of consistent use, I noticed my body reverting to its previous state, with digestive issues returning that I had successfully managed with my previous brand. To make matters worse, I experienced an increase in joint pain, which I hadn’t dealt with since I began my psyllium husk journey.Once I decided to stop using this brand and returned to my previous one, all of my problems vanished. It's clear that the quality of psyllium husk varies significantly between brands, and this one just didn't meet my needs. I would recommend sticking with the brand that has worked well for me instead. In this case, the cost savings weren't worth the decline in my health.
