STANLEY FATMAX Deep Toolbox Storage with Heavy Duty Metal Latch, 26 Inch, 1-95-617

bought this for my husband? really great and strong, fits all his tools inside.

Good sturdy box, arrived undamaged. Plenty of storage. Handle feels solid, strong enough i can use as a hopup at over 13stone, not meant for that but its handy. I now have atleast 20+kg of tools in it and the metal clasps are still solid secured when transporting.Reason for the 4star is the holding part that comes with it inside for the pliers, chisels etc dosent fit my stanley chisels there just a bit tall, but iv filled them with other tooling anyway so not a big gripe. More than happy with the toolbox. I bought the 26" so i can fit a handsaw in it otherwise i would have got the 23/24" version. Quite pricey but id say for the storage and sturdiness, worth it.

Had to look into getting a new toolbox as my existing one was getting cramped after moving into my new house.Purchased this one and was able to finally have some breathing room so for that 5*.Despite being plastic it feels sturdy and well built.I just have one major gripe with this and that is the shelf at the top.It's size is around 1 third of the width. it would not have been difficult to have this go across the full width so its a shame.What is especially problematic is when the shelf slides to the middle it will drop down into the box dropping everything and disorganising it.That is the only issue i have and if you're looking for something with a bit more space than the typical box then this is not a bad pick up at all!

What a size. Full 26" Stanley Fatmax toolbox. Great for bigger tools. Firstly toolbox is plastic and not metal as it looks but i knew that anyway. Big fairly sturdy and sufficient. There is adjustable locators inside so i wonder if you can purchase holders for this as it comes with one i presume is for screwdrivers. Overall pricey for what it is but if like me get on a sale definately worth the purchase..Wish i had ordered more to replace my 4 other 19" Stanley boxes 5 stars well happy

Loads of storage and rock solid. Big enough for just about anything that doesn't have its own case. Like that fact that it is an open box shape with no tapered sides inside. Would buy another...

Fantastic box. I use it daily and it's taken an absolute beating over the last few months and still isn't showing any signs of giving up! I've used mostly Stanley boxes for probably a decade now, and they've yet to let me down.It is largely made of plastic, so I'm not sure I'd recommend standing on it regularly, or for long periods of time, but I use it on occasion if somethings just out of reach and it's holding up - the plastic is probably a lot stronger than I imagine it is!

poor quality for the money

Ideal tool box for hobby DIY'er. Heavy duty hinges. Plenty of storage space unlike my old plastic box which had a big draft taper angle reducing space. I shopped around and paid under £30 maiking this a bargain
