Chef's Larder Table Salt 6kg

It's salt. I used it dissolved in hot water to kill off the weeds on my gravel drive. It worked perfectly. Very happy with my purchase but can't tell you what it tasted like!

We bought it after learning we can remove pesticides from farm produce by using a salt water solution to clean them. Mix two teaspoons of salt with four cups of warm water and stir it with a spoon till the salt dissolves. Once the water cools down, soak the fruits and vegetables in it for 30-40 minutes. This method isn’t applicable in the case of fragile fruits like berries. In that case, use cold water and rinse them properly.This product has very good value for money, will certainly buy it again

I bought this and it arrived broken . I sent emails along with broken and leaked product but got no refund or any help at all

This ‘Chefs Larder Table Salt’ tastes fine just like good salt should, but I purchased it in a bumper 6kg container to use as a weedkiller on my block paving driveway. Its fine texture makes it perfect for this application and I hope in 2018 my driveway will be weed free – and I’ll update this review then. But in the meantime, just a thought – why not use salt instead of sand to fill gaps between block paviors when initially being laid?

The order came in on time and I was pleased until I had opened the package only to find some of the containers half filled and some others more filled but still not fully filled which I find very disappointing. As you can see in the pictures how the seal is still on but they aren’t filled properly so I believe that you don’t get 6 bottle all at 50g and that the price isn’t worth it if this is how they come.
