Everything came shiny and new. I love the razor holder, but the shears seem to not be sharp and or pull the hair at the tip of the shears

Has everything you need for beginners or whatever. During the pandemic we weren’t going to barber shop and I had to cut my husband’s hair. I had no idea what I was doing but after a few YouTube videos and this little set I was ready.

It seems you get what you pay for. The price was the lowest of all similar sets, but the highest quality item in the kit is the barber cape. I tried cutting my mom's hair and she cried that the scissors were pulling her hair rather than cutting. I also had to try different angles and places on the blades to make them actually cut her hair.I also would NOT recommend using the thinning shears unless you know what you are doing or you have a plan to experiment without making yourself or your subject look like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.
