Great film very funny

Worth watching

This is comedy gold. Bill Murray at his best, in a funny story with some great puns and story line.Taking a star off, not for the film but for Amazon for charging so much for such an old film that isn't even in full digital quality.

Don't let the unpopularity of the people's recognition of this film missguide you; it is a truly hilarious film. Woody Harrelson plays the ultimate dead-beat. A washed up ex-professional bowler. A man who's become a disgrace. A man who would rather float around in his existence as a mortal wound of obscurity and drink himself to death, than possibly making something of himself again. He meets up with a dense amish kid named Ishmael. Ishmael's so stupid, so naive and oblivious of what's going on around him--that he makes it funny. This review is for the Region 1 MGM DVD. It's a double sided disc with the film in 'standard' screen format on one side and 'widescreen' format on the other. You choose the one suited for your screen. The material is the same on both.Extra features are the original theatrical trailer and an informative feature-length commentary track by the directors.There are French and English subtitles and a closed caption choice that includes some song lyrics.Also there's an 8-page booklet of trivia.This is a funny adult comedy with great music.A word of warning if you're a car driver - there's a scene in it that has haunted me since I first saw this film.I'm now reluctant to check my rear view mirror.

This is one of the best films from the 1990s.All the cast were perfection personafied.I originally bought this as my second ever DVD back in 1999 and now I'm pleased to see it's now on blu-ray.I will certainly enjoy watching this movie again.Recommended purchase 😀

funny film, big ern completely steals the show, one of the funniest characters in movie history, a great cast but as often the case the hilarious bill murray steals the show, something should of followed with big ern, a lost opportunity for sure because many movies could&should have followed with big ern at the helm

Ever seen a really funny clip on-line, that's from a film so you decide to buy the film? I did and this is the film, but there really was only that one really funny part in it. The rest of the film is ok. I haven't found this film released on blu-ray and I guess it's not going to be.
