For stackable Maytag washer and dryer
These were easy to install. They work great so far. Pleased with our purchase.

This kit works perfectly with our older Whirlpool Duet pair.
We have an older Whirlpool Duet pair. Our model numbers are, dryer: WED9200SQ1 washer: WFW9200SQA12 (both found inside door of machine). This stack kit works perfectly for these models, despite not listing them online. It took my husband and me about 25 minutes to do it. You basically replace your current dryer feet (feels at first like they don't fit, but keep turning because they do), put two little plastic clips on the back of the dryer, set dryer on top of washer, hook metal clips to connect washer and dryer, and put screws into the pre-drilled holes. Super easy. - As suggested by another reviewer, we put felt sliders under our washer before doing anything else, just to make it easy to move both once we got them stacked. That was a good tip!

It works
More expensive than the copies but I wanted to go with something from the manufacturer to guarantee it will work. Some of the copies had reviews stating screws did not fit so they went with this one.

Think Carefully Before You Do This
Update: I do not recommend this method of stacking because of the difficulty of having repairs to the units. My washer needed repairs, and when the Whirlpool repairman came out, he informed me that he only works on units he can access, meaning it would be our responsibility to unstack the units to have the washer repaired. Fortunately, all I needed was a new door lock, so the repair could be done without unstacking them. However, he charged $250 for a repair that took a few minutes. I cannot imagine having to unstack them for repairs. It would have been almost impossible. The next day, my brother built me a cabinet so that the units could be safely and securely stacked independent of each other. Now if I need repairs to either the washer or the dryer, it will not be a problem.Original post: We had limited space which is why we purchased the stack kit. I had to have help installing it. The feet were difficult to position because they didn't want to screw into the bottom of the dryer, but they did eventually. The metal clip was also difficult to line up. Then it took three people to lift the dryer onto the washer. I still gave it a four because the end result worked well. I'm not sure the feet worked better than a rubber pad between the washer and dryer would have worked because it looks to me like their only purpose is to protect the surfaces. The only things that are actually holding the washer and dryer together are the two little clips. This kit works, but be sure you have three people handy, because you will have to lay the dryer down to install the feet, then you will have to lift it on top of the washer. This makes my unit high, and it would not work well for a short person unless they use a step stool. Now that it's done, I really like the stacked washer and dryer. I do, however, cringe when I think about future maintenance and having to unstack them for repairs. I would recommend the stack kit, but I am hesitant about the whole idea of stacking.

Perfect fit for Maytag
These worked perfectly for our Maytag front load W/D. We though the feet wouldn’t screw all the way into the dryer, but once we got each started with pliers we were able to get them fully tightened so that the would brackets fit.

Incorrect Part
I copied the product number directly from the website when I ordered my washer and dryer. Unfortunately this is not the correct part. I am unable to return it d/t being outside the return window. I did not have help to stack my units for a while and when I did realized that this part was incorrect. I am very dissatisfied with this product because I was very diligent in checking my part numbers in order to purchase the correct part. Now I have spent $35 on a few screws and plastic bits that do not fit my machine and I will ultimately throw in the trash!!

Perfect fit!
You pay a little more for the “real deal” but after reading reviews for the generic stack kits, we are glad we went with the Whirlpool stack kit, which is also made for Maytag, which is the set we bought. All the pieces and parts fit just as they were supposed to. No mismatched holes and screws. Instructions were thorough although I’m not the best puzzle builder so I watched an online video which really helped us figure out what went where.Definitely glad we spent the extra $$ for our new washer dryer. Wish I could say more, but the dryer didn’t work and is on back order.
