Useful Extra for X-Sense Smoke Alarms
I bought this unit because, having purchased a set of 3 X-Sense Smoke Alarms, it seemed sensible and useful to have a Remote Control unit for alarm testing purposes. This remote works well and saves all the hassle of having to stand on something to reach the alarms when testing them. Definitely worth buying.

Operating instructions
I am sure the instructions are clear, but to my eyes they are unreadable. They are printed on a small booklet with print size estimated at about 2pt. Useless unless you have a strong magnifying glass.

Bought two smoke alarms, thought I would buy the controller, can’t get it to sink with the alarms. Not good.

Purchased as part of a system, allows me to test / silence the smoke detectors - rather than standing on something to press a hush button.
