Used these on a 2 week hunt in the north Texas panhandle. I weigh 275lbs, and these pole gave me great support and stability. They are very sturdy and the locking mechanism was very secure and easy to adjust. I am about to have a double knee replacement,and without these poles I wouldn't have been able to get to the remote areas of the ranch. I highly recommend this product...!!!!! Charlie Foulds,

I've used these several times just to try them out. They're comfortable and quite helpful. Haven't really needed them for the local not-so-steep hikes, but still nice to have handy.

While the poles are fairly simple to understand, feel there should be more info on assembly and changing out of tips - Sort of a "how to", or at least a suggested link to the mfr's site. Only by researching further online, did I come to realize that the tips which came with the poles, are not the one really used for Nordic type walking. Requires different "feet"'; which have been ordered.Also, there is no distinction, or note as to whether or not there is a LEFT and RIGHT pole. No indication on the shaft, as with other brands. Also, there is nothing to show how to shorten or lengthen the hand straps. Important info is not given in written form. One has to go online (if capable) and search for the info. Just a bit frustrating.

These poles are easy to adjust and comfortable to use. They give me just the support I need for my balance issues, plus they’re much cooler than a cane!!

The York Nordic Walking Poles are exactly what I need to work on my health as a breast cancer survivor. As a victim of lyphmadema of the arm, I find the arm movement using the poles very helpful to my shoulder. The York Nordic poles are easy to adjust and use. The poles are sturdy; if fact, I have used them to walk in the snow. My husband is purchasing his pair and others in my neighborhood who ask about the poles! Word of mouth is still the best form of advertising.

I like this trekking pole personally because of the design options, features like the flip lock height adjustments and the no slip grip. Very fast shipping and good price! Bonus love the bag it comes in for easy transport. If you’re looking for a good hiking/trekking pole at a good price, this is the set for you. They also sell regular Nordic walking poles with a different style grip but we mainly hike so sticking with these. Thanks!
