Not the best
I feel like the idea was good but the design has flaws! First it is way too big for a smaller adult thumb! It doesn't tighten enough to hold steady while shooting! Also, the metal "ledge" is super annoying. Would be better if the metal wasn't there and was just the leather!

You have to modify these thumb rings if you use the thumb against your middle finger method.
These work fine if you bend your thumb around the string and lock your thumb in place with your forefinger. They do not work for the "shallow-hook" method, and need to have a groove added to the face of the lip to hold the string. A very small rat-tail file will work for this chore, then use a Dremel and buffing pad with jewelers paste to smooth and polish the groove.

Solid if you like thumb rings
Very comfortable and obviously durable.I normally shoot instinctive off the shelf with a Mediterranean draw, but ive been expanding my horizons. I bought several different types of thumb rings and this one reigned supreme.

Me personally I don't like how it releases the string, seems very dramatic and makes my string pop very weird . Like I said it just not for me

Slips off the thumb too easily
The shape is nice and comfortable, but it can't tighten around your thumb enough, it slips off with almost every shot. It's not just me, I let others test it and it slipped too. Get a metal ring instead.

Very comfortable
I like this style alot better than the more simple brass only rings. It's very comfortable and I like the lanyard helping it stay on my hand.

When I ordered this, it was about 10.00. Its price varies.But if you handed me all the pieces, and had me assemble it, my time is worth far more than what this costs.Anyway, this is a fun alternative to your normal bow string pull.It took me a bit to get used to, as I've never used a thumb ring. Thank you Youtube!The quality is superb.The metal piece for the actual ring is well thought out, and feels and works great.
