BROKE BATTERY TERMINALS
broke the terminals off my sony NP-FZ100. Sony will not provide replacement due to third party charger out 110 for the battery.

Absolutely garbage!
It's advertised as fast charge battery charger but whenever I put both batteries to fast charge it restarts and ruins your battery life! stay away from this!

Easy and does the job
Nice way to charge extra batteries. It doesn’t break the bank and has a cool app to monitor the progress.

Ruined my Sony NP-FZ100 Battery!
So I purchased this charger based on reviews I found for “best aftermarket chargers” because I was being too cheap to buy the Sony brand one. Turns out this was a big mistake. Not only did the charger bend and push in one of the 3 gold pins on my second battery, it never seemed to work correctly while charging my other $80 battery that it didn’t ruin. It would play an annoying audible tune randomly every couple minutes while flashing a yellow LED. According to the minimal instructions, it should play an audible tune ONCE upon connection, and a blinking yellow LED every second is normal during the charging period. Once fully charge, the blinking yellow should turn to solid green. However, the instructions say absolutely nothing about the charger blinking a yellow LED while randomly playing an audible tune and flashing a red LED in the opposite charging bay. The audible tune WOULD NOT STOP!! This continued for quite some time until I reached the point of frustration where I decided throwing the $30 charger in the garbage was best alternative. So now I will be purchasing the Sony brand charger as a replacement.

Wildly inaccurate charge info and ultimately a bit gimmicky
First problem is that the charging information is wildly unreliable. For example, I was just charging a genuine Sony FZ100 battery and the app tells me it's at 90% (I tend not to fully charge batteries to extend their lifespan a bit), but according to the camera it was actually at 82%. So I put it back in the charger and it now confirms it's at 82%, despite one minute earlier telling me it was 90%. So I wait until the app tells me it's at 94% and now according to the camera it's actually at 100%. Erm, OK. And this is with the latest firmware installed for the NP2. I generally trust the camera's battery information more than a third party charger's.Second problem is the app, which really offers very little in the way of useful features like reliable alarms or charge thresholds and has a tendency to freeze if you leave the charger details page open. I have to tap a few times to back out to the charger overview page and then go back in to the battery details to actually see the updated charge percentage of the batteries. Hence the only alarm it offers (fully charged) usually doesn't go off at all. A third, related, problem is that the BT signal seems weak, without the normal range I'd expect a bluetooth device to have. I have to almost be in line of sight in the same room for the app to update the charging info at all.Despite the footprint of the charger being relatively small it's also a lot thicker than most other USB chargers so is really not any more travel friendly than alternatives from the like of ISDT or Nitecore. Ultimately I feel like this is a gimmicky solution in search of a problem, but one that could be greatly improved with a more feature-rich app that offers more than just the same limited information you'd get from the LCD readout of a regular charger.Meanwhile I'll continue to take my very slim, easy-to-stash Nitecore charger (USN4 Pro) with me on trips and keep this one for home use only. As my rating suggests, it's an OK charger but not great, let down by a bare bones and unreliable app that promises so much but delivers very little.
