I was looking for a simple, flat insole for cowboy boots, and this one is perfect. There are no molded arch or heel supports, so it lays flat under your foot. Just enough cushion over the hard leather boot insole.

with all the options for shoe supports, get one that works. This one is to thin to do much good, if added to the existing support, then it may be to tight to get your shoe on. Others are better.

they did not stay down they bunched up a bit at the ball of my feet, I am going to take them from one shoes to the next to see what shoes or boots they work in.. like the product, but wished they would not bunch up. I am hoping they will work better in heel.

I stand all day at work. Memory foam is a joke. Gel is the only kind that works. These have little gel nubs on the bottom that that give added cushion with every step. They make standing and walking more comfortable.

Despite the ad showing shock absorption for athletic uses, this insole is best just left for casual street shoes. There is no molded heel pocket or arch support, just a simple sheet of gel with a fabric top. It worked fine with my casual street shoes. There is no size markings so you need to trace your old insole before cutting it to size. I recently suffered a bruised heel and this insole helps a bit. ** UPDATE** - downvoting one star to 2 stars. It keeps slipping in my shoe and I have to fix it each time I put it on.

I am an assistant store manager and I am frequently walking all over the store on a cement floor to manage my associates. Dear God it's painful. I buy pretty comfortable shoes, and it still isn't enough. Shoe inserts are a must when you have to be on cement all day. I'm literally crying in pain by the end of the day.... but with these inserts, I am still in pain, just not crippling pain :)

They’re not for me. I think it depends on the person. I do not feel as though my foot is stable with them. (Kind of moving around in my shoes.) So I don’t find these comfortable. But that’s me. They’re is definitely spongy. If you want spongy, this is spongy.Now all that being said, there was a definite residue, strange feeling to the fabric. I washed them. I washed them very well.Note: I do have allergies to some fabrics, and a side of the residue, (just talking about the fabric) these do bother my skin. So I put a self adhesive (vinyl patch material) over top, hoping that would help. And allergy wise it did. Comfort wise… no dice... just a spongy as they were before.The long and the short of it is, they just aren’t for me. When it comes to feet, everybody is different. But even if they did have a comfortable support, I would never wear these without washing them ((well)) first.They held up nicely in the wash!
