Transmits video and audio well, just one slight issue if you are splitting audio/video....
I installed this system so I could run our video from the A/V cabinet to the two 75" TVs on the wall about 40' and 65' away. We are running 1080P/60FPS. I hooked it all up, the transmitter system is very small (which is good when in a rack), and has the HDMI in and out and the two RJ-45 ports. Having the pass-thru HDMI makes things easier since then you can see what should be transmitted in case there is something wrong. Everything was working great, it was passing the video and audio beautifully. But once I put an HDMI audio extractor on the pass-through so I could run the audio into the audio mixer in the cabinet I noticed there was a significant delay in what I saw on the TV screens and what I heard. Especially when watching the drummer play. I would hear the snare, then I would see his drumstick hit the snare. I would say it was easily a 10-15ms delay. When running everything through the TV it would work great, audio and video were synced. So, if you are using this to extend audio and video, it will work great. You want to split audio and video, you will need to add a delay or something to the audio to get it aligned. I have a feeling that this is a normal issue with digital video/audio no matter what you use but wanted to warn others ahead of time. All in all, the system is working exactly as it should in terms of extending audio and video in a 1080P environment.

Works as advertised .. used with MacBook Air
I used this to display a video on two different TV's from a MacBook Air. I connected an HDMI cable from the MacBook Air (via a USB to HDMI adapter) into the HDMI INPUT port on this AGPtEK splitter. I used a 100ft cat6 Ethernet cable from one of the cat6 OUTPUT jacks and a 35ft cat6 Ethernet cable from the other OUTPUT jack and connected them to the included Ethernet to HDMI converter and connected an HDMI cable to each TV. In my setup I needed to connect the TV's to a bigger sound source. My plan was to run a self powered DJ speaker off from each TV (audience was about 100 people split into two different rooms), however, only one of the TV's had an external audio connector port (3.5mm). I ended up linking the speakers together via physical cable. Since the audio for both TV's was coming from only one TV, there was a slight, but noticeable audio to video syncing issue (the video and audio were not sync'd and was noticed during times in the video when people were talking - mouth in video did not sync with audio). This was NOT the fault of the AGPtEK splitter, but a result of linking both TVs to only ONE audio source (diff cable length/nature of audio/video). It wasn't a show stopper, but I wanted to point it out as something to be mindful of in case anyone else is considering this for a similar setup. All in all, this product worked right out of the box and ran like a champ. I only used it once, but will update this review if I run into any issues down the road.

Easy to setup, POE doesn't work
My setup is running an HDMI 1080 signal through 100ft of CAT6 wire to two screens. At first, setup did not go as planned as I was expecting these units to be POE compatible. Although the directions mention that these units are POE compatible, there is nothing that says exactly what is needed to accomplish this. However, powering the main transmitter unit does not send power to the receivers in my case. Now, my kit did include 3 power supplies and I was planning on installing recessed boxes behind the screens anyway, so once I settled on just plugging in the receivers everything worked as expected. There are dip switches to set the resolution (768 or 1080) or it can be read by the loop-out monitor. I have mine set for 1080 which works great. The nice part of the EDID being set by the transmitter is that when the screens are off, my computer still believes that monitor is hooked up. Using 3 HDMI cables, 3 AC adapters and 2 100ft CAT6 cables this system is plug and play - it worked immediately upon plugging in the sender and 2 receivers.I am not using the IR receivers or Loop-out so I cannot comment on whether these work. Overall, I recommend this unit if you are okay plugging in all three parts separately.

Good Idea, Poor Workmanship
Worked fine for a while, but now neither receiver works - the displays only show video intermittently. There is a button for setting cable length, but it just makes the signal go from bad to worse and back again. I contacted tech support and their advice was to degrade the signal quality. That didn't help anything, but seriously- what's the point of selling a product that is supposed to support 1080P signals and then tell your customers that they may need to downgrade to 720P or lower?

Great for Media setups
We got this because our use case was to set up a computer station in the back of a church that was out of the way, and we wanted to have two TVs at the front of the church about 180 feet away from the computer station. These worked well since we could buy 6 cables so much cheaper in bulk than we could buy HDMI cables. The price for the extender was great and we have not seen any decrease in the quality on the screens. It was also nice that it not only has two outputs for the cat 6 cables, but also has an additional HDMI output so you can see what is being shown on the screen.Overall, the price was worth it and it was easy to set up.

Quick and easy setup
Used a similar product in the past and it was very difficult to setup. Not so with this one. Assembled the cat 5 cables, installed the cat 5 cables and the hdmi cables. Sent hdmi signal through system and had beautiful pictures on both destination televisions. Works great to live stream a signal to two other locations. Would recommend, truly plug and play, no need to mess with settings or programming, it works right out of the box! Also like the hdmi passthrough so you can still see your image locally!
