I don't know what this is made of. But it is too heavy to be aluminum. Battery died with this terminal put on the negative. The start stop feature also did not work on my car. The positive side would not fit my lead acid battery terminals with or without spacers. Regardless the fit the materials are not conductive. In order of conductivity it is gold, copper, aluminum and so on. I would buy a pure copper one and pay four times the amount of someone would take the time to make a quality piece. This is a good idea but too many corners were cut so it's worthless.

These are super beefy and it's nice that you can use straight wire AND ring terminals so it gives you both options. Only thing I don't like is the little spacers they give you to use if you have smaller diameter posts have sharp edges so they can scrape the heck out of the battery post when you slide them on but other than that they are great.

These terminals are a great idea and initially seem well made. However, they are composed of a non-malleable metal. The clamp was too large in diameter to fit my standard US battery top posts. The clamp hardly closes when the bolt is tightened; the metal is too stiff to bend around the post. The company enclosed steel sleeve/ shims for posts that are too small for the clamp (like my standard battery). These shims made it too big and the clamp would now not fit over the posts. I tapped the clamps on with a dead blow hammer and they went on, sort of. The steel shims chew off the soft lead. So, the clamps finally went on, but they loosen and fall off with a light push. Tossed these clamps in the trash! Again, great idea, but badly engineered...
