I am part of an art installation this coming spring where every piece of art must fit into the diamond of a City owned Chain Link fence.My large gem molds barely fit so I grabbed this set and they are perfect.I drill a tiny hole in the top to hang them and they fit nice.I was testing the fit on my own fence and forgot about them. Everyone that drives in comments on how cool they are so I am going to make a bunch just for me.As for removing, they are easy if you do a slight trick.Start off in a warm soapy water bath. Then lightly keep tugging the edges back while under the water. As soon as you do this all the way around, start removing it exactly like you would take a tire off the rim. ease the gem out that way and after only the first two edges you feel it pop right out.Bubbles. For me they are not terrible since I run my resin through a vacuum chamber first. However the larger mold top is level so the bubbles can get trapped if you have them. I fill just to the opening, then pull a toothpick around to remove them. So far the only issue I have is with one of them and I have 3 of these sets, so I will stuff cotton in it and lay it in the full sun for a few days. This will usually flex the open and stop the trapping. I know they are silicone and should not take a 'Set' but they do.

I've been looking for a replacement for craft store diamond molds that were discontinued and these are almost exactly the same- but better.The molds are very shiny and the edges are smooth. There are no unwanted divets in the side like the other molds I had.

Not sure what I have done wrong but in multiple castings the very tip of my diamonds never would set and would be extremely soft. Not sure if it is a mold issue or user error at this time... I typically use the molds as fillers for when I have leftover epoxy. The rest sets up fine lol

These silicon molds are great! They unmold easily and give the gems a nice shine. They will get used a lot.

I was disappointed with the size of the mold, it looked much larger than it actually is. I wanted to put a rose in it to mold, couldn’t even fit the rose in at all, even after removing pedals and actually cutting the whole rose down! Very unhappy
