Exactly as described, and have been using these for a while. Just be careful to not screw the lid on tightly with anything hot inside the jar: the vacuum it creates when cooling down makes it near impossible to open it up again.Just remember to screw the lids on loosely in such a situation, or only use the silicone insert and the band without the lid, so you can push down on it to break the vacuum seal.

Three-piece mesh-lid set of two. We like to keep healthy snacks in the cupboard, including different nuts and seeds and we've discovered cashews don't do well in closed jars. They tend to self-ferment (similar to putting bananas in a bag) and don't last as long. The mesh lid is a great solution.The only thing you have to watch out for is to not drop the inner mesh when you pull off the outer ring.The set has a curved mesh (can be set inside the jar or above the ring-lid) and a seal that can used or not used. The screw-ring fits standard mason jars. The pieces are easy to clean. it's working. This is what we needed.

These stainless steel wide mouth Ball jar lids are just what I needed to start my growing sprouts experience. The rings are easily screwed on my jars. The mesh insert allows to water to drain, but keeps the seeds inside the jar. I like the silicone inserts that are made without fillers. I'm on day 2 of the growing experience. I'm hoping it all works out as well as everyone tells me it will. According to the package insert, the company is owned by a woman, which I like. Unfortunately, the lids are made in China. But I guess we can't have everything

These look high quality, but won't know how well they do for a few months, will update if needed.

I am in love with this set. Size is easy to use with any of my wide mouth jars. Lid drains water well and no sign of rust. Easy to wash and very durable. Very functional
