There is actually nothing wrong with this product but I ordered the smallest size because the picture showed that it would fit into a groove, not just be flat. It was just flat which won't work for me but it's still a good product.

Replaced trim on a van because factory replacement was way too much $$. I’m used to installing products like this and I found it good as long as your practices are good. Nice clean warm degreased surface. Press down well before removing the protective top liner so you can be firm with it without scratching. Don’t wash the car for a couple days which should be no issue as the car should already be washed for this project. All good.

This stuff just doesn’t end up looking quite right on cars. Doesn’t matter if you cut it perfectly and make no mistakes when applying. It won’t look factory or like it’s meant to be on your car. Also the coating (not the clear protective wrap but the actual coating on the plastic) doesn’t stay on. It literally started peeling off when I took the plastic wrapping off, but only some of it peeled off so it wasn’t even a consistent color. Some of it was a matte black/gray and the rest was glossy.Just don’t buy this stuff.

I put this on my car to protect the paint and metal from being damaged by careless people's car doors. It was easy to apply and sticks firmly.

It works perfect. I purchased an additive to make sure it sticks well and it's amazing.

In the widest sizes, this product simply would not smooth out on the surface. Couple reasons for this:1) it ships rolled into a pretty tight roll. Doesn't return to flat very well, even in warm sun. When installed, it ends up looking wavy/lumpy like there's chatter in the surface. I suspect it is from the stress of being rolled too tight.2) Flat/rigid profile cannot conform to a compound curve. The wide the molding, the less it is able to follow the contour of the car body. Even what looks like a straight line on a door is actually a curved surface. The factory moldings are actually sculpted to fit the body. This generic stuff simply can't fit right.Also, this is very thin. It does not protrude very far above the surface. Looks a bit unnatural compared to OEM moldings
