Revoltech Yamaguchi : No.058 Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Gurren Lagann Fully Drillized Ver.

Well if you are a fan of the show its a must have. It is about 4 inches tall and comes with a drill a couple sets of hands his giant shades for busting baddies and two heads one serious and one for attack. It also comes with two face plates on the torso one with shades and one without. As far as posing goes once you fiddle with the joints for a little bit u get the hang of it but don't look to the directions for guidance unless you can read Japanese. Its an awesome buy and looks great too so if you feel the need to drill to the heavens this might help you out a bit.

You can spend a lot of quality time messing with this figure. Lots of articulation and interchangeable parts allow for some really fun setups! Those drills can be sharp though, beware. The bits are tight fitting so adult supervision will be required, but totally worth it.

This was far from the first Revoltech figure I'd purchased, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Super-poseability is key in making great figures, and Revoltech always comes through. As you can see in the picture, the figure comes with an extra head, hands, chest plate, and drill arm. The drill arm is really cool because it easily switches out with one of the forearms, or it comes with a base you can plug it into and have your very own core drill to carry around! The figure also includes a display base, which is great for midair poses(See the image I'm uploading after writing this review).Now, this next bit comes as much more of a caution than a complaint, because you're looking at this item for the exact reason I'm cautioning you - there are tiny drill bits everywhere! Which makes the figure look really awesome. Its just not as awesome when you're constantly pricking yourself while you're manipulating the figure! Some would say that it goes without saying, but the pointy bits are well... pointier than I was expecting! Consider yourself warned!

I recieved this figure earlier this week and was very pleased with it.I did have a few minor issues with it though. When replacing one of the hands, I pushed to hard and my thumb went straight into one of the drills and started to bleed. Be careful when replacing the hands and try to keep the joint facing the side of the drills instead of the point. When I tried replacing the heads, the crown part on the normal head's helmet came off. Be careful when changing the heads because that piece, at least on mine, wasn't very secure and now needs super glue to be fixed. The core drill that comes with the figure is also able to be used as a giant drill hand. Here's the problem though: The two tiny drills on the arm make it rather difficult to put the core drill on his wrist joint without bending the wrist drills.On the plus side this figure is definitely worth the money you pay for it. It looks exactly like Gurren Lagann in the anime and has a great amount of articulation, making just about any pose from the show possible. The alternate hands, head, and chest plate make this figure even more fun. If you're a fan of the anime or just like the look of the figure, it's definitely worth picking up as long as you're careful with it.

It was a little smaller than I initially thought it would be, but when you think about the structure of it in the anime, it isn't the biggest mech, and it is very tight in and of itself, not leaving a lot of slim areas, so it makes sense that it's a chubby little mech. It holds the big glasses surprisingly well, and the drill arm was a little awkward, but once we got it in place it looked great. The chest piece is a little difficult to remove, but with some diligence you'll get it.Also; this guy is crazy sharp. One of the drills punctured my hand because I wasn't expecting it to be so damn sharp.Otherwise, it's a great product. Revoltech did wonderfully with it.

Revoltech never ceases to amaze me! This "toy" is not meant for kids, it has super spiky drills that sting your finger when touch so be careful. Comes with several other items you can exchange with so that you can get it to stand in different poses. Overall very nice!

Every thing is good but its to sharp i hurt my self like 5 times i thought the drills would come out but they dont its an awesome action figure but its to sharp i would say that just make the drills pop out so no one can get hurt . No offence this is not a toy its an action figure

I like to purchase figures every now and again for use as models for drawing. This one intrigued me due to its detailed sculpt and being very articulated. I will say the spikes everywhere threw me off a bit at first. It can be hard to get into the exact pose you want. The amount of accessories is pretty staggering here and the addition of a stand is a nice touch. I actually went so far as to watch the anime after I got this figure, and I have to say it's one of the best I've seen in a long time.
