Very clear, very simple
I bought these to listen to Spotify from my phone via Bluetooth, and as external speakers for an old and cheap DAB radio plugged in with a 3.5mm to RCA cable. The Bluetooth connection was very easy to set up, and perfectly stable. With the included 3.5mm to RCA cable connected, I noticed a slight hum from the left speaker when there is no, or very low, output. After a rummage in my big cables bag I found a heavier cable (Pure AV) and tried that instead - perfect, hum gone, silence from both speakers even with the volume right up. I guess the heavier cable is screened. The Production / DJ switch is a subtle difference, I suspect most people will leave it on DJ, it's like a mild loudness button.White speakers (they were cheaper) are quite strange looking in an Imperial Stormtrooper kind of way. Fine for my hobby room though, and actually quite good if you are to bracket mount them on a white wall, as I probably will.Sound is what I'd call crisp, very clear, quite punchy bass, and that's despite my two inputs not being of the highest quality. Time can be spent fiddling with the Eq controls in Spotify if necessary. They go pretty loud too, much louder than I need in a small room, enough for the whole upper floor of the house, in fact. The joining cable between the speakers is pretty short, though easy to replace. The volume control on the front of the right speaker is handily placed, but it does seem like it could also have usefully incorporated the power switch, instead of that being on the back plate, which could be awkward depending on how (if) they are mounted.Slightly concerned now about the lack of protection on the front after my wife walked in (after two martinis) and asked if she could press the tweeter in with her thumb.Overall very happy though, and currently enjoying the clear and hiss free DAB radio through these very nice speakers. I get good reception, but could upgrade the receiver at some point I guess. Note that it doesn't make it too clear in the description, but these support Qualcomm aptX Low Latency Bluetooth.

Nice speakers for a desktop setup
Great for either connecting via Bluetooth or via a aux cable. Sounds decent in either mode. Very good build and faultless Bluetooth connectivity.

Supplied with no UK 3pin power lead
Unboxed these speakers upon delivery and loved how they look and feel. Unfortunately, this is where my happiness ended as I noticed that the supplied cables only had a US or EU 2 pin power lead. Not too impressed that this wasn’t mentioned in the description but I will search again after Xmas and reach out to Pioneer. For now, sorry but returning

Solid Sound Quality, Depth and Versatility - As Expected From Pioneer Kit
Solid Sound Quality, Depth and Versatility - As Expected From Pioneer Kit.I’ve used multiple of the brands other pieces of tech such as higher end CDJs, Mixers and their all-in-one midi controllers, plus accessories such as pre-cue headsets, most of which are always proper quality and have the versatility/functionality needed and expected from a brand like Pioneer, and I’m pleased to say this speaker monitor set has also so far been in line with other products of theirs, solid quality sound for the price, and real nice touches with the added functions such as Bluetooth connection or the ability to switch between both Producer mode and DJ monitors, that’s all very handy. The added Bluetooth as well as the standard line in methods is a lovely function, not often seen on DJ monitors of this price range since Bluetooth isn’t used to connect your mixing kit generally speaking due to latency issues sometimes taking longer to relay, but since this is a hybrid monitor for both DJ and production, with a switch to go between those modes, having the Bluetooth connection is a great addition for linking up your Macbook etc on the fly, or even connecting to your phone just to stick Spotify on if casually doing other tasks around the place when you’re not using the speaker system for Production/DJing.So I can definitely say so far, I’ve been satisfied with my set, and there’s numerous nice added features that aren’t very common kit for these types of purposes, which add nice touches to this speaker system. Great so far, but will update this if anything changes 👍🏻

Very impressive for this price!
I think these speakers are in a category of their own here - I am always so disappointed in non separate hi-fi speakers, but these really fill the gap. Sound is crisp, clear, full, and very loud without becoming distorted. I love the bluetooth bit, and would recommend to anyone used to proper hi-fi to give them a go.

Good product, but not for me.
I thought I was buying a hifi speaker (that was my search), but it cannot be connected to a hifi amplifier. Unfortunately I had to return it because it was not fit for purpose.I would give five stars to the quality of the sound when I tested it, I give it four stars because it should not appear in any search which includes the words Hifi or the listing should explicitly explain that it is not compatible with an amplifier. Unfortunately, not all of us are sound experts/connoisseurs
