This is an excellent chess board. It’s slightly smaller than the photos might lead you to believe, but that’s not a dig. It’s just an awesome chess set, and worth every penny. Very classy, high-quality product.

Nice, but chipped wood
Gorgeous chess set I got for a gift. Only issue is that the wood was chipped. Either than that, I love the brass pieces and wood table.

Absolutely worth every penny
I hardly ever write a review, and 9 times out of 10 it’s a negative one. This is the rare exception! I have several very expensive chess sets on display In my library, which my young daughters have developed a habit of playing with. I scoured Amazon in search of a set they could play with without loosing or damaging my collector sets. I finally decided on this one and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. First of all it is packaged very impressively and the warranty is amazing.honestly, having a lifetime warranty for lost or damaged parts is unheard of in this day. The board is felt backed and quite nice looking. The surround that houses the chess pieces is quite nice aswell. The pieces themselves are cast metal and all appear to be in very nice shape. All in all this is 100% better quality and value than what I expected. I would highly recommend this set to anyone looking for a high quality looking and feeling chess set.

Cant find anything to complain about.
bought it as a gift for my father and he's going to love it.the pieces are sturdy, distinct, and simple in design, nothing one has to worry about breaking.The board itself is nice, the wood pretty.I like the design of the box overall. no drawers, no awkward handles or anything that I personally think just add visual clutter.not a complaint, but extra queens would be a nice addition.
