Gets really loud in doors . Sony makes really great speakers. I would like to buy a larger one down the road.

You know those things in your life that work so well that they just fade into the background? Those silent heroes of your day? That's this speaker all day, every day.Mine sits atop a corner rack in my shower and doesn't get very wet at all so YMMV. For me though? It's been a great upgrade to a long shower at the end of the day. Great job Sony!

I received my Sony XE 300 speaker in good condition as described when I bought it. Just as new.

Definitely like it for its unique design and the chosen color. Asthetics easy 10 out of 10.Now let's get to the honest opinions when sony first announced this this I was definitely overjoyed but definitely said do to the size there has to be a little more hardware such as a tweeter included. Unfortunately the was not the case as pur usual sony overlooked an easy detail. Don't get me wrong this thing sounds good and yes the EQ does help the sound treble and bass can be improved but Ultimately it's just to obvious this could have been better with a tweeter! There is just this sence of slight muffle or just not high enough in terms of volume I have to turn this to about 70% for it to keep up with the charge 5 volume at about 50%. I really like this and wanted it to be greater then it is but 200 does not justify this thing the 2 woofers can easily handle mids with no problem and are ok with highs but seriously sony why no tweeter u have plenty of space in this thing. The defuser works ok the sound doesn't feel super directional but doesn't seem as wide spread as they advertise. U want this to fill your room maximum with the EQ tweaked is the way to do it! Maybe sony was trying to avoid a large amount of distortionion because it is quite minimal at maximum wich is really good! And yes the microphone function is really solid so props to them for that!Enough rambling all in all its a nice sounding well built speaker but 200 ...nah... may return it and buy it back later if I find it for Luke 120-130 ish for that 200 there is definitely bigger to equal size speakers with better performance! The DJ for my son's graduation pool party went silent on us, so I ordered these 2 speakers to complement the one I already have and we paired them to play synchronously. It worked out well! These were w9rth the money.

I want it to replace my smaller Sony speaker that I had for many years and was still in great condition (gave it to someone that didn't have a speaker) Love the aqua color and the sound app from Sony (wish it had more options for sound but I'm just being picky) It is a bit expensive but if it has the quality that my old had than I'm sure I'll get my money's worth. *Please note this is a review for the larger SRS-XE300.*I purchased this looking for a midsize travel speaker to use when carrying around my larger SRS-XG300 ("mini" boombox) isn't practical - ex. getting on a plane.Being so happy with that speaker, I decided to give the SRS-XE300 a try. But...I found myself a bit under-whelmed.PROS:- I was impressed with all the tinkering afforded by the application - my favorite feature in particular are the battery health features that limit charging to 90%: the first and last 10% of discharging/charging a lithium battery are where most of the wear occurs. Since Bluetooth speakers are hard to repair, ensuring battery longevity is important to me. But it does a great job offering lots of other controls over other sound features: stereo vs. mono mode, EQ, etc.- The bass was quite impressive for the size.- I didn't experience much distortion even when cranking it to higher volume levels.CONS -- It seems like this iteration of Sony speaker put a diffuser to help "direct" sound out of one side of the speaker - and I found that this significantly degraded treble performance off-axis. I have hearing difficulties, and even after fiddling with the EQ and volume, I was never happy with the clarity of vocals especially if I wasn't standing directly in-line with that opening. Increasing the volume would make it uncomfortably loud. Perhaps it wouldn't have been as big of an issue had I purchased *two* XE300's to make a very directional stereo pair, but at that point the space savings over the XG300 would be moot--not to mention the increase in cost..I ended up returning this for the JBL Flip 6 and that design seems to work better for me, though the bass response is nowhere near as impressive as this nor is the app's feature set.Overall: I think this is worth a try, but personally, if a small size is not a factor, I would HIGHLY recommend making the jump up to the SRS-XG300 - now THAT is a kickass speaker.

I use this as a practice tool for learning new guitar music, it’s just remarkably good for my needs

o som é muito bom, tem um perfil de pegada mais grave, tem o app sony music center, tem google assistente, alexa e siri, mas a charge 5 da JBL tem mais brilho, é melhor.

La bocina llegó en muy buenas condiciones de empaque, sin golpes y entregada de mano con el repartidor usando contraseña. Sony es garantía de calidad, muy buen sonido con direccionabilidad, sin problemas de portabilidad, la construcción es muy sólida, conexión sin problemas al Music Center, carga rápida y batería durable. Sin problema de uso en ambientes húmedos. No ha sido expuesto a salpicaduras ni nada de eso.

Si lo que buscas es una bocina personal para escuchar música, está es tu mejor opción, además si te gusta priorizar los bajos para ser una bocina no muy grande sabe distribuidor bien el sonido para brindar una experiencia única en cuánto a calidad sin distorsión del sonido, toma en cuenta el CODEC de salida de tu dispositivo para no varíar en la calidad de reproducción.
