Bumkins Silicone Sensory Placemat -Small (Sage)

The media could not be loaded. I love this placemat! As others have noted, it’s pretty large and may not fit in your exact tray, but I plan to use even when we transition to the table. The textures are cute and help baby get his own food, which he LOVES. My favorite part is the suction and the design of the edge. It’s nearly impossible for my little one to pull it up - I even have a hard time sometimes! The only downside is that the textures are so fun sometime my baby just slides his hands all over to feel them and play, which makes a mess. But isn’t feeling a baby messy anyway? ;) I love that I can toss it in the dishwasher. It’s a bit floppy and awkward in there, but never had problems getting it clean. I love this placemat!

I’ll start off by saying I like this placemat a lot. The suction on the bottom works well, and it almost fully attaches to the insert that sits on top of the highchair tray. It’s a tad bit big, but it still stays put. It will definitely fit on the tray itself when we choose to not use the insert.I like that we can still suction a plate or bowl on top of this placemat in the center or use it by itself. The rainbow design is cute, and the different sensory elements are raised enough to pique the little one’s curiosity.The raised edge is nice and helps keep the food on the placemat. Even better is the design of the tapered slope of the outer edge. This makes it more difficult for the little one to grasp and pull the mat.Overall, I recommend this placemat. I am glad I chose it!

The sticks very well to the high chair, even though it doesn’t have any sections on the back, it doesn’t move or slide and it is actually kind of hard to get up even for me which is a good thing if you have kids that like to grab things, this would be really good for a little baby just starting out that you don’t want to put a lot of food on the plate if you have an older kid, I would not suggest this it’s still a really nice plate
