Great product!

In traveling overseas these were PERFECT for shipping my things to myself. They are very roomy and only weight about half of what the originals are, which helped since the USPS has weight limits. I recommend these to anyone who wants to use these multiple times to ship things back and forth over the water.

Pelican makes a great quality product and the AIR option provides the same level of protection by not jeopardizing weight. Perfect for shipping and travel thanks to the wheels and retractable handle.

So I rolled the dice on this case, it's supposed to be the lighter version of the Pelican 1620. In theory, most airlines will accept this as a checked bag but I would direct you to Pelican's website for more info. The breakover for checked bags is 62 inches total (length + width + height). I am taking a two week vacation in a couple of weeks so I wanted a solid piece of luggage. The case came with a nesting card holder (for your address card or a business card if the luggage held business product, I suppose), but I detached it and plan to attach a custom luggage tag with a QR code for my info. My one quibble upon inspection is that the extendable handle for when you're rolling it seemed a bit wobbly/loose, I was expecting it to feel more solid. I plan to update my review after my travel. If that handle was rock solid we'd be looking at 5 stars.
