Bought two of these as they looked just what we needed to keep our drinks hot, and we weren't wrong, haven't tried them with the lids on so can't comment on whether they leak or not but that's not what we bought them for. The colour of the mugs aren't quite as in the picture but that's no biggy, they are a good size holding a little more liquid than a normal mug but that's a bonus, saves going back for a refill. They are well made and have a very pleasing shape, in all they are just what we needed so no complaints.

I already have one of these mugs but purchased two more for my parents. They are perfect for camping or using around the pool while on holiday. Keep drinks lovely and hot. Excellent quality even if a little expensive, they are worth it. Would highly recommend. Easy to clean and do not take up too much space.

The mug keeps lots of tea warm, is sturdy, cleans easily, and is easy to hold as the outside doesn't get warm.When the lid is on and pushed close it does leak out of the sipping hole into the lid if you tip it but the description does state that before purchase. The handle makes it easy to keep the mug upright.The lid can be a little tricky to remove when the mug is full of hot liquid as the seal requires a little force to pull apart. Safer to put the mug on a flat surface to avoid spillage. Lid is easy to take apart to clean.

The only reason I didn't post a 5-star rating is that the seal isn't perfect when filled up, so it can leak a bit if you're not careful while walking with it. GREAT heat retention.NOTE: This isn't going to fit a car cupholder, which doesn't affect me, but be aware.

IT IS NOT LEAKPROOF!! The two times I have used this mug, even if there is just a tiny bit left of liquid in it, it completely leaks without any effort. Firstly it went all over my jeans on the way to work by me just resting it on my leg, and then it leaked in my work bag destroying many work docs when it only had a bit of liquid left. The mug looks nice but it is completely unusable!

Very happy with our mugs, having read the reviews we are aware they aren’t suitable for car cup holders but we wanted large travel cups for trips when we often find hotels and accommodation have small cups and we love a large cup of tea . Even with the lids off we found the tea stayed hot quite some time and the outside stayed cool. Love the funky designs .

Can keep a drink hot for hours (probably around 5 if you use the lid that came with it) while making the outside cold to the touch which can make drinking it feel confusing at times. Obviously that's because of the insulation but even knowing that, you don't think you have a nice warm brew inside.Without the lid on, it isn't anywhere near as insulating, I'd say about 50% better than a regular mug which isn't great but I didn't expect it to be. Although even without the lid it's still a good mug as you can hold it while it's hot and not burn your fingers.
