Very good for instant Pho
We had an Asian restaurant that closed down where I live. I’m still sad that they’re gone. I would have to travel around 2 hours (over mountains) to get a bowl Pho at a restaurant. These instant bowls are a blessing. Are they as good as authentic Vietnamese restaurant Pho? No, not even close. But, they really are very good, and rather flavorful for an instant soup.I always put the ingredients in a larger bowl and add a little bit more boiling water than called for on the directions. I will then toss in some sliced whatever-I-have-in-fridge vegetables to make it a more well balanced and filing dinner. Others who have reviewed this soup here have given other wonderful suggestions for things you can add in. Do read them. Unfortunately I’m limited to what’s available. Not everything that I would want to add (like the restaurant offered) is available here.I am not a fan of the individual plastic bowls. I think that they are a waste, and we need to be goung away from single use plastic containers (I have kept mine for other purposes, but do wish that these were sold without the bowls). Also, another con, each serving has a high amount of sodium. Unfortunately I have noticed that this is true of almost all instant, and most canned soups. If you’re someone who’s watching your sodium intake, this is something that is important. I just treat myself to one of these bowls no more than once a week. In part due to the sodium, and part due to cost. In the past, the restaurant Pho was a 1 to 2 times a month treat to myself. I’m doing the same with these.

It's Hard to Believe It's Not Fresh
Pho is all about the broth. You won't believe that this is instant, not fresh. The noodles are delicious too. Want a tasty bowl of pho that is super quick and easy to prepare? Treat yourself to this pho. It's perfect on a chilly day. You can add your own cooked chicken if you like but it's not needed.

Tasty Pho for the Lazy Cook
I pretty much love Pho but, there aren't a lot of places to get it where I live (at least not decent Pho). Since I lack the dedication to make it from scratch at home - this has become the next best thing! I buy some cheap flank steak, slice it up thin, put it in the bottom of the bowl, add the rest of the ingredients (soup base powder, dried veggies, oil packet) then pour boiling hot water on top. Cover. Let sit for 5 minutes. Viola! Tasty Pho for a lazy cook. It is definitely my go to food now that the weather has finally gotten a little chilly. One word of advice -- don't try and use the bowl it comes in, it's just too small. Go ahead and make it in a nice big bowl (bonus: it gives you a more authentic Pho feeling that way)

best instant pho from home EVER! (edited from 5 stars to 3 due to price)
We eat Vietnamese on a regular basis - love the cuisine and the culture. This is our go-to when we don't want to go out.Update: I still love this product, but the price is unreasonable based on new information. I was able to purchase the exact same product at Costo for $7.99. The price difference is not acceptable, even considering the convenience of home delivery.

Authentic Delicious Flavor
I love everything about this product: the price; I can get it from Amazon in 2 days; comes in it's own serving bowl; only takes minutes to prepare; but most of all---it is a delicious pho ~as tasty as the entree from the Vietnamese restaurant nearby! Highly recommend if you are a pho fan!
