Great upgrade
bought this for a Coleman headlamp that wasn't very bright. Now it puts out blinding light and being an LED I'm anticipating longer battery life.

4 leds work good
This is a nice light good and bright. Don't know about longevity, or energy efficiency yet. But I will let you know since I just got it.

Lackluster
I bought this for a 2 C cell maglite, as it's designed for. It's not as bright as my others that claim 500 lumens, and you lose a bit of the focus ability with the multiple leds on top. The center when focused tightest casts a clover shaped shadow in the center of the beam. It's brighter than non-led, but there are better options. Much better.

I’m sure this is a good led conversion bulb, but not for me. I needed one that fits Maglight.
