Q: Does it really reach 16 feet?

I had no problem. With two people it will do 16 foot sheets easy. I did my whole ceiling with 16 foot sheets and it did fine. Very good for vaulted ceilings. You have to lock the base before loading though or it will roll when trying to load piece on it.

Great question, I dont know, I have not had any issues with mine. You might try harbor freight, they sell one very similar.

It’ll hold a sheet at 90° vertically if you need it to.
